Excerise is good for you! [Open!]
While Diana was never one for overly exercising, usually doing just enough to keep herself in her wonderful curved shape, she did see that the whole ‘clears your mind’ thing was somewhat accurate.
And her mind felt very crowded. Plus, she couldn’t argue the disadvantages of being in top physical condition when the ship went to heck for the millionth time.
So, she deck out the sensorium into her own gym. A bit of running, then maybe some swimming with Jinx if she texted her to come over.
True, by the end of this day she’d most likely be over worked, sore and far too tired, but that almost meant she’d want nothing more than to drift into a dreamless sleep without any weight of past event or futures worries.
Provisions had recently discovered the wonders of sky dancing and so spent him time diving and twirling in the air high above Diana’s head, apart from when she was shooting, then he would peck at the ground near her feet to avoid the possibility of stray bullets.
Track
Re: Track
He was supposed to be training for battle every week, but the shock of the deaths and the sudden onslaught of work had gotten in the way. If his original trainers were still here, they would not be pleased at all by his lack of progress.
So he found himself heading to the Sensoriums in his old training gear, a bag slung over his shoulder. To his surprise, someone was already here---usually he'd simply peek and turn away, but in this case training was already in progress.
He slipped inside, hoping he wasn't making a mistake. The runner was someone he didn't know. She seemed strong and fit, obviously ready for action. Billy hoped she wouldn't kill him for intruding.
"Hey," he tried calling at an appropriate time.
((Hey! In case you didn't see, I'm not dropping anymore, but I do have to hiatus for a bit on Thursday. if that's not okay, that's fine. I know it's a bit inconvenient timing.))
Re: Track
Turning, she spotted a man not too far away. She recognized him, but only from occasional sightings during her travels around the ship.
Taking another sip to give herself time, she scanned his face with her eyes more closely. Wait, wasn't that the guy Ronnae got hitched to? Bobby? Buddy? Billy, that was it.
She put on a half smirk and mimicked his greeting. "Hey. You always sneak up on running girls or are you trying something new?"
[[No problem!]]

"No, that's not it! I was actually hoping to run too. I guess I got wrapped up in my thoughts. How to improve my own performance." He shrugged. "I can leave, I'm not out to bother people."

"Just come in, it's not like I own the place." Diana set to work shaking out her long, dark hair then tying it back up in an attempt to hold back the stray bangs that'd freed themselves and were falling infront of her face.

He stepped inside and started with a light jog and stretch. Between movements, he watched her. She was...interesting. "I don't think we've met. I must really be slacking on my training."
no subject
"It's Diana. And you're Billy, right?"
A black crow fluttered down to land on her shoulder, beating his wings in a motion that fanned her face, keeping its beady eyes on Billy.
"I've seen you around."

Firing Range
Provision cawed and hopped onto her foot to play with her laces while she took aim again.
Re: Firing Range
And Hit Girl liked this.
"Gotten better," she remarked. "If you hadn't, I would have stopped the sessions. I knew you'd be stubborn enough to get it."
And don't mind her bruises and cuts: its Hit Girl, after all.
Re: Firing Range
Provisions used the time to fly over to Hit Girl and land on her shoulder, nuzzling her cheek with his feathery head and gurgling in greeting. At first, the bird had been very cautious around the purple haired girl, but after figuring out it was the same girl who he'd seen regularly when Diana had to carry him around and bring him to work as a chick and fledgling, he'd become alot more affectionate.
"That's me, very stubborn. I'm glad you're the same though, otherwise if you cancelled class I wouldn't get to see you as much." It was a tease, of course, because Diana would see Mindy regularly at work and in her leisure time occasionally, but she had to admit, meeting Mindy when she was Hit Girl was rather fun, if only because the younger girl tried to separate the two identities in a way Diana only found amusing.
Re: Firing Range
And yes, it was an ego boost, but she didn't go into that.
The bird, she admitted, she'd grown fond of too: she had never had a pet before, and really? It would have been helpful back when she was being raised, considering all she had been through. Then again, where she was from likely they would have used that as leverage anyway. In this place, it was comforting.
"Yeah, what the hell. I missed you too, temptress," she shot back, amused. "And now I know all that teaching wasn't in vain. Good too: I don't wanna have to go and pick up your brains off the floor if some new bullshit happens on the ship."
Which was really code for her saying she'd be really sad if something happened to her.
"How you holdin' up?"
Re: Firing Range
At the concealed concern from Hit Girl, something akin to endearment flashed across Diana's features before she raised her gun to start shooting once again, knowing the bangs wouldn't bother Hit Girl in any way.
"You know me, I'm always just peachy."
Re: Firing Range
It was a compliment! Kind of!
"Yeah, whatever. You know I was going to be worried. After Howard and Cedric croaked, it became a big thing to make sure you don't die on me. But you don't need me talking about it. Continue."

Pool
Re: Pool
So when she entered the elaborate gym that Diana constructed she whistled with approval and easily found her way to the pool.
Glancing around for Diana she smiled laying her eyes on the the oh so attractive clever girl who had...undeniably, become a fixture in her life in the months that they had known each other.
Re: Pool
As usual, Pro swooped down to greet Jinx by gazing the top of her hair with his talon, making a noise that very much resembled cackling.
Re: Pool
"Having fun?" The long legged girl peeled her stockings off next leaving her clothes on a nearby bench.
Re: Pool
Re: Pool
She undid her hair ties last shaking out the soft pink locks and slid into the waters with a smooth graceful bend diving in with her fingers pointed. Very professional.
Long pale legs propelled her in the direction Diana had drifted and she took a moment to appreciate the stark crispness of the water. Being the Sensorium she could even open her eyes without fear of chemicals in her already pink eyes. It was a shimmery blue scene of dancing lights.
A few steady kicks brought her back to the surface, pink hair plastered around her head like some kind of aquatic plant.

But she rarely looked up or acknowledged his feats besides a nod or a dismissive hand wave.
That was until the young crow did a full circle around the track and spotted Sherlock. Immediately he gave a startled squawk then began giving loud, harsh warning caws which caught Diana's attention instantly.
She turned to Sherlock and cocked her eyebrow questioningly, moping her pretty face with a towel. "Can I help you with something? Or are you just here to be creepy?"
no subject
He'd only been looking at her to see if its odd behavior was the result of cues of some kind from Diana.

"Rude!" Pro cawed repeatedly from above, diving at Sherlocks head and grazing the mans hair with his talons close enough for a haircut.
Diana began striding towards Sherlock confidently. "There, see? He's putting on a show for you."

Diana used her hand to wave Sherlocks threat away dismissively, clearly unconcerned. "Please, if anyone's going to eat Provisions, it's me. That's what I keep him around for."
From her blunt tone, she was either very good at lying, or really meant it. Though, Diana knew herself both were true.
Despite the roasting jokes being passed around about him, Provisions landed upon Diana's shoulder, glaring at Sherlock with smart, black eyes.
