Excerise is good for you! [Open!]
While Diana was never one for overly exercising, usually doing just enough to keep herself in her wonderful curved shape, she did see that the whole ‘clears your mind’ thing was somewhat accurate.
And her mind felt very crowded. Plus, she couldn’t argue the disadvantages of being in top physical condition when the ship went to heck for the millionth time.
So, she deck out the sensorium into her own gym. A bit of running, then maybe some swimming with Jinx if she texted her to come over.
True, by the end of this day she’d most likely be over worked, sore and far too tired, but that almost meant she’d want nothing more than to drift into a dreamless sleep without any weight of past event or futures worries.
Provisions had recently discovered the wonders of sky dancing and so spent him time diving and twirling in the air high above Diana’s head, apart from when she was shooting, then he would peck at the ground near her feet to avoid the possibility of stray bullets.

He seemed pleased by her sentiments in regards to intelligence.

The crow on her shoulder tried to tuck one of the runaway strands of hair that had escaped her messy bun back into place like it was organizing a nest, but it just continued to slip out again. After several more tries Diana just removed the hair tie and shook her long, dark hair out of the bun, making the bird move onto grooming the strands near her ear with delicate precision.
"Whats the point in having brains if you can't show it off?"

Her head tiled at him, slowly and deliberately. "And I bet you're the same."

"I'm a consulting detective," he said. "When the police are unable to solve difficult crimes--which is lamentably often--they call me in to solve them." He looked upward as if just remembering something. "Or I should say, they called me in, past tense. The end of the world put a slight crimp in my doing my work for the Yard, and even before that, I was made to look like a fraud and fake to the general public by an enemy."

"That whole thing sounds totally amazing." The sarcastic lift to her voice was small, but in no way hidden. "Is it that rare is your world for people to be generally horrible to each other? Because, it pains me to bring this to your attention, but where I came from it happened alot."

A pause. "By the way, I never did get your name."
no subject
"It's Diana." She stroked along Provisions beak. "And you know his name."

She named it Provisions after all. Tongue-in-cheek dark humor.

"You could say that." She shrugged. "But I like to keep my business, my business."

He looked back at the track.
"Well, I'll leave you to your exercise. It was..."
Mildly unpleasant, somewhat fascinating.
"...diverting, meeting you."
That was possibly a compliment.

"Sweetie!" The crow on her shoulder echoed.
