Excerise is good for you! [Open!]

While Diana was never one for overly exercising, usually doing just enough to keep herself in her wonderful curved shape, she did see that the whole ‘clears your mind’ thing was somewhat accurate.

And her mind felt very crowded. Plus, she couldn’t argue the disadvantages of being in top physical condition when the ship went to heck for the millionth time.

So, she deck out the sensorium into her own gym. A bit of running, then maybe some swimming with Jinx if she texted her to come over.

True, by the end of this day she’d most likely be over worked, sore and far too tired, but that almost meant she’d want nothing more than to drift into a dreamless sleep without any weight of past event or futures worries.

Provisions had recently discovered the wonders of sky dancing and so spent him time diving and twirling in the air high above Diana’s head, apart from when she was shooting, then he would peck at the ground near her feet to avoid the possibility of stray bullets.

"I'll see what I can do. I never know what that girl is going to be doing sometimes."

She smiled to herself. That's part of the reason why, anyway.

"I kinda expect better from you than that, Diana," Hit Girl said, looking a little disappointed. "What the hell makes you think I'd be wasting my time with stupid shit like that? I have better things to do than indulge in half hearted hormonal crap. Never think I do anything not worth the effort again. It's insulting."

Which really, is actually another hidden compliment. What was Hit Girl doing at the moment? She was talking and going back and forth with Diana. Still, she was more than a little annoyed at the suggestion she didn't know the difference between fucking puppy love and what she had.

"I can't wait."

Diana's disinterest quickly turned to amusement at Hit Girls reaction, taunting smile spread across her face. "And I expect you to know how I work by now, cutie."

Provisions began making a noise that sounded exactly like a cackle at Hit Girls expense.

Hit Girl just gave her a look.

"Puppy love. Jesus. Guess I fell for that one. Then again, its not something I don't expect people to think."

Nevermind that those two were far from being in a stage like that. Apparently Hit Girl was far more sensitive than she thought.

"No one ask you, birdo," she said to Provisions, sticking out her tongue in a moment of extreme maturity.

"That's why you're so fun, cutie boss." She patted Hit Girls cheek in what would be a patronizing way if this were any other situation. But this was Diana and Hit Girl, they interacted this way.

Provisions cocked his head at Hit Girl then gave her displayed tongue a soft, playful peck before soaring over to Diana's shoulder before Hit Girl could punish him.

Diana rubbed the top of his head with her finger, smirking. "Thatta boy."

"And that's why you're my favorite pain in the ass," Hit Girl replied, shaking her head. Yes, they had this kind of rapport, and while it tended to make her out as super sensitive, she had to admire someone gave enough of a crap to want to bring it out to begin with.

Hit Girl did chuckle a little at Provisions being playful though.

"It must be fun, to have a pet," she said. "Never had one myself."

She ruffled Hit Girls wig playfully. "Thanks, cutie."

Diana rolled her eyes. "Try annoying. But he can be pretty amusing at times."

At Diana's praise, Pro fluffed out his feathers and puffed out his chest importantly.

It was sad how she was already getting used to being called cutie, something she was certain she was going to detest. Of course, it wasn't like she had much of a reason to care about it so much right now. No one was watching and judging, and why care of they were? She had more than enough ways to prove herself.

"It's cute," she said, spinning her pistol in her hand. "Anyway, reload and let's go again."

"Yes, boss." She began loading another clip while Pro pressed against her neck, not wanting to fly into the firing line.

Diana flashed Hit Girl a sly smirk. "But only if I get a kiss at the end~" She teased before raising the gun.

Hit Girl was already loading up her gun, which was apparently taking no time at all, and watching how Diana was already preparing. She was glad the bird had enough sense to stay out of the way.

At the reply, Hit Girl just grinned. "Let's see if you can earn it then."

"I'm holding you to that, so don't back out now~"

Diana took the safety off let a few rounds loose into the target to her far left. She was much better at handling the recoil now.

"I don't go back on my promises," she said with a shrug. "Which you already know."

Awesome. She was getting better. Maybe she should start her on blunt weapons soon. Couldn't hurt, right?

"Oh, I do. Which is why I'm keeping a checklist of your promises. First up, kisses and meeting the glorified Ruffnut."

She chuckled as she continued firing, her amusement relaxing her, allowing her to concentrate on the shots instead of overthinking it.

"I'd say its weird you keep so many tabs on me, but then I've seen weirder things than that," she said, taking a few shots with ease, although she wasn't doing this idly either.

Now she was also beginning to see how much better her aim got. It turned out that though she had good aim before, now it was really just like breathing and took little effort. That was something she had never thought possible.

"That is good. Wonder how good you'd be with a weapon to hit people with."

"Just staying prepared." She winked at the other girl. "And please, like you don't keep tabs on me."

"Hitting people?" Diana looked at her slender, feminine arms and raised her eyebrow at Hit Girl. "Not sure it's my thing, cutie." Though this gun thing was giving her some upper body strength, she wasn't too thrilled about the prospect of bludgeoning someone.

"Of course I do," Hit Girl said, returning the wink. "Can't let you get into too much trouble."

Hit Girl shrugged. "Never said it was. But its not like you can press a time out button if someone's coming at you. This place isn't exactly above throwing people into danger. If you know that much, we can teach you how to sprint like a motherfucker."

"I'm so glad you care."

"Sprinting sounds good." She patted the top of Hit Girls head. "I'll let you know about the whole 'hitting' thing."

"Whatever man." She didn't like talking about that shit aloud.

"Dude, there's going to be a time where you have to hit people. You might not have the muscle or whatever, but it'll happen. When it does, you should be ready."

Diana sighed in exasperation. "Alright, maybe a couple of lessons on where best to hit."

Shaking her head, she smirked playfully. "I know you're desperate to spend time with me but you don't have to be so pushy about it."

Hit Girl sighed. "I love it that I have to be the one to tell you that beating the crap out of someone who wants to do the same to you is important."

She grinned. "Yeah, God knows I don't get enough of you calling me cutie and all, right?"

"Such a way with words." She lowered her gun. "I don't think I'll be beating anyone, more like giving them a hard smack so I can get away easier."

"I'm just glad you're finally admitting it." Diana teased before using a slender finger to point to the targets. "Now, I believe you have a promise to keep, cutie." With this last clip, Diana had managed to hit all the targets somewhere within the designated rings, and in one of them, had even landed close to a bullseye.

"Well whatever you want to call it, last thing you want is to be taken down by some motherfucker who is bigger and stronger than you. I can't do much about faster in terms of fighting, so we'll have to focus more on you being faster in running."

She really did like twisting words around.

And there was that promise. This time Hit Girl wasn't going to allow herself to be messed with, knowing Diana. She zeroed in, kissed her on the mouth slow, then released her. If there was one thing Hit Girl had tyaken her time to learn, it was how to kiss.

"I can only imagine what getting them all in the bulls-eye would have me do."

Diana rolled her eyes. "Yes, Mindy. No, Mindy. Three bags full, Mindy."

For as good as Hit Girl was, Diana had both natural skill and countless experience, which she executed with ease when they kissed. While some people were good kissers, Diana was an amazing one, though she toned it down to just 'great' for a simple kiss like this.

When they broke apart she pulled an expression as if she were evaluating whilst being amused, that teasing look in her eyes. "Not bad. Basic but well performed."

Diana winked again, taunting. "I'd need more than a half-hearted peck, that's for sure."

"Dude, if you wanna get your ass handed to you, fine by me. Don't have to do this."

There was being funny and then being an ass, a line Diana tread sometimes.

As for the kiss, it was obvious that Hit Girl had no intention of wowing Diana. Her kiss, a kiss she only shared with Ruffnut, was a toned down version.And

"Thanks so much for the eval," she said, not being able to help smiling. "And its like I said before: you want more than half hearted peck, you better do better than that."

"I said I'd do it, I don't get why you're still whining about it."

Diana smiled back. "Guess that means we'll just have to keep meeting up for lessons."

"Oh, so that bitching you were doing was you saying yes? Gotta catch up on my teen speak."

She raised an eyebrow. "Well yeah. If you start to suck, that'll reflect badly on me."

Hit Girl smirked. Their talks were always so fun.
