All work and no play makes you a dull boy! [Open Post/Event]
Who: Splicer, and anyone ever! Yes that means YOU!
Where: Hunter's Pad
Summary: Party till you drop, release some stress, just have fun!
Warnings: Open party event, discretion is advised!Excessive partying
After the announcement over the network, Splicer set off to break out the snacks he had stored, the drinks and set the out on the club floor. He wanted people to have fun and enjoy some care free time. Morale had been fluctuating as of late and a good head kept the troops going in times of strain. What better way to pick up morale than a good fun time with friends and just kicking back and doing your thing?
That's why he was now occupying his booth and taking any requests for the people that came by, greeting and waving at fellow crew and friends. He intended to make this as fun as possible for each and everyone. Good times seemed to be scarce in the future to come, so he'd do his best to make this one of the good ones.
[[OOC: Open event post, feel free to post an open thread for your character, or post to someone who's already there! You can make requests at the DJ booth, and you can choose to interact with Splicer as well, just make sure you put it in the header. Other than that, just have fun!]]

Ronnae - Open!
It was no surprised that she incorporated dance into her fighting style, and even that was a sight to behold. But right now, this wasn't the battlefield, this was a moment to have fun and just be herself.
You'll find the half-orc girl swaying her hips and shaking her curves to the beat of a particularly hot party beat and simply enjoying herself.
Re: Ronnae - Open!
She was looking for familiar faces, and she saw one: gleaming green under swirling red hair. Billy's gi-, no, Billy's bride. Well, she should go offer her congratulations.
She stepped-skipped between people to get to her, moving reflexively to the beat. "Hey there! I remember you, you're Ronnae from Engineering. Glad to see you're still here!"
no subject
"Hey, yep, still here! How are you? It's been a while huh?"

She was definitely short of potential gifts at the moment. Gogglefruit candy didn't seem quite serious enough; besides it made your eyes water.
"How are things in Engineering? I heard a lot of department heads are gone; who did you lose?"
no subject
"Oh, ah, well, there's been a lot of repoddings as of late." she said looking down as the blush slowly faded away. "Billy actually has a detailed list of who, what, and when since he's been investigating. He'd probably be more accurate as to everything involving that since you know how things can be weird in this ship."

Ahri~ Open!
You could find the foxy girl moving to the beat, her tails swaying in all directions playfully dancing almost of their own accord. She put her whole body into the swing of things, she was enjoying this thoroughly.
Re: Ahri~ Open!
But here she was, watching the swaying on the dance floor with open curiosity (and pity). What was this? Why were people so frivolous?
"I can't believe you have time for this," she said in open awe from her spot just off the dance floor.
no subject
"I can't believe anyone who wouldn't~" Ahri mused with a light giggle.
"Creatures all need to set aside some time to simply enjoy life and the blessing they posses by having it~ I am more than happy to partake in such an activity." Ahri smiled as she finally stopped close to Sally with a friendly smile.
"Tell me, do you not enjoy this sort of activity?"
no subject
It was making the best out of a bad situation, she knew about all that, but...how? Sally was just too far gone in worry to see it.
"I've never had the time. And really, do any of you? Don't you have training drills?"
no subject
"We have those often enough, there's also the sensoriums which are often used for training by the crew on a constant basis. Some practically live there! I don't pay much mind to such however, it feels draining and depressing. I prefer being at ease, and alert and alive~ Once you've been in a war for long, all of them seem the same."
She couldn't quite remember if she had mentioned her war in the past conversation. Truthfully Ahri didn't like revealing much about herself at all, preferring to keep herself as mysterious as possible but the environment made her a bit more trusting.
no subject
"But you can't let your guard down," Sally added, "because that's when they're going to catch you and do their worst. Always."

Maria - Open
The problem is when she started trying to cross the dance floor in her search, other people were dancing, and the little girl was quickly overwhelmed and flailing by all this.
no subject
Seeing the other girl seemingly a bit frustrated made Mashu float over and wave, "Oooooy!" she said in greeting.

Open
In public. In club, even.
Her head is throbbing in pain and she's noticeably fidgeting every once in awhile, but she's still making an attempt to casually sip her drink. If only her hand weren't shaking quite so much.

You're someone I didn't expect hon. But I can't say that the sigh isn't pleasant in all regards. Shoulda called in advance, would have set up something for ya. How have you been? Haven't seen much of you as of late... holed up I guess?
no subject
"Oh, I like to get out every now and then...see what the babbleroar has to offer. In any case, I'll have to (properly) thank you for toning things down for my (poor, abused) mind. I'm willing to bet you don't spoil your other patrons like this," she teased.
no subject
"How have you been holding up? You've been keeping track of what's been going on right?" he asked curiously.
no subject
With a mental sigh, she places her glass on the table and turns to fully face Splicer. "I have and...it's been terribly interesting (and just plain terrible). I'd be interested to hear your take on it, though...not here, of course."
