All work and no play makes you a dull boy! [Open Post/Event]
Who: Splicer, and anyone ever! Yes that means YOU!
Where: Hunter's Pad
Summary: Party till you drop, release some stress, just have fun!
Warnings: Open party event, discretion is advised!Excessive partying
After the announcement over the network, Splicer set off to break out the snacks he had stored, the drinks and set the out on the club floor. He wanted people to have fun and enjoy some care free time. Morale had been fluctuating as of late and a good head kept the troops going in times of strain. What better way to pick up morale than a good fun time with friends and just kicking back and doing your thing?
That's why he was now occupying his booth and taking any requests for the people that came by, greeting and waving at fellow crew and friends. He intended to make this as fun as possible for each and everyone. Good times seemed to be scarce in the future to come, so he'd do his best to make this one of the good ones.
[[OOC: Open event post, feel free to post an open thread for your character, or post to someone who's already there! You can make requests at the DJ booth, and you can choose to interact with Splicer as well, just make sure you put it in the header. Other than that, just have fun!]]

"Well, I'm certain that I'll catch up with Billy and we can go over it during work hours. For now, though, maybe you could show me some dance steps? All the dances I know are either not right for gravity, or slow." The deadly-slow dances of the Living People, where you could spend half an hour drifting your body and limbs into a specific contortion, holding the pose, and then moving out of it as slowly and smoothly as a cloud - no, they did not go with flashing lights and bouncing music!
no subject
"Of course! D-dancing is one of the few things that makes me feel free. Like... Like I can just be myself and enjoy the moment! Here, come~" Ronnae said with a happy skip on her step as she moved to a more open area in the dance floor.
And then she began, that fluid motion that was how she enjoyed not only dancing, but fighting. Using her entire body as a leaf in the wind, maybe a more speedy one, moving and swaying not only her limbs but her natural curves. Her wide hips swaying to the fast beat, her torso twisting and turning in a flexible fashion, like a palm tree being bend by a strong wind. Her arms acting almost like silk in the wind, moving almost in their own accord, even running down her body as she enjoyed the passionate feel of a fast and energetic beat.
It was clear this was much different than the usually timid girl who tended to hide in a crowd.

"Maybe if I do it slower? Or faster?" she said, half to herself. It was her childhood dance-training getting in the way, she thought.
"Keep going, and I'll try to keep up!"
no subject
"Just go with the flow, I'm sure you can sense it going through you. It's like... Like falling into white water rapids and letting your body move to the motion of the current~" Ronnie said cheerfully.
no subject
But at Ronnae's next statement, she paused and let out a pained little laugh. "Sorry, but I can only imagine my dancing in that situations being," she holds her arms straight up and flails them frantically, "'Help! I've fallen into white water rapids, get me out!'" Another laugh. "Do you go into rapids for fun? It sounds very dangerous."
no subject
"O-oh, well, I s-suppose people react differently... I... I'm sorry h-haha... Ummm there's been a lot of exciting places we go to that I guess others would consider d-dangerous..." Like jumping over lava, free falling into the abyss, flying into energy beams and getting engulfed in toxic liquid... amongst many other dangerous events.

She illustrates, turning to one side and bending her knees, swaying again. Surfing the beat.

The beat of the music changes, and Anwei tries swaying her hips with it, letting the muscles of shoulders and neck flow in pulses down her back and sides. "Is this more like it?" she asks Ronnae.
no subject
At the change of pace and music, Ronnae smiled, giving her friend an approving look. "Yup! Just enjoy yourself, that's what this is all about." she mused with a timid smile.
no subject
She rolls her eyes shut and tries to follow the beat with her hands and body, unconcerned with what any onlookers might think. She's just here to have fun, right?
no subject
She followed through by dancing closer with Anwei, she was going to have as much fun as they could! That was the purpose of all of this!
no subject
She opened her eyes and turned her body towards Ronnae, trying to match her moves.

Soon enough, she was right on Anwei, dancing much closer than before and practically gliding and guiding her along the flowing dance.

"See? Lots of fun," she mused with a light giggle. "I'm really glad you're around again and am happy to have some leisure time together."

It's a little unsettling, how Anwei speaks of Death as though she was talking about an old friend she would be meeting soon.

"In Her name, you promise to try and lead a long and interesting life. And if your Gods do not receive you kindly, She promises to take you to a place of safety and truth, where you can stay forever without want or lies."
She cocked one eyebrow, and her voice gets a little cynical. "And if you think that is a way for people to duck out of an afterlife destination that is not to their liking, that's quite often the case." She certainly wasn't planning on returning to the toothy embrace of the Gods she had been raised to worship.
no subject
"So she was like the guide of your soul in the afterlife regardless of where you ended up at?" That would mean that she would have jurisdiction here, in Stacy? She wondered...
no subject
"And considering," Anwei wiggled a little with distress, out of sync with the music, "that the Gods I was raised up to follow are quite unpleasant - you know the type, amorphous and leprous and squishy and devouring-all-in-their-path sort of ickyness, I'll be quite happy to skip their afterlife." Said afterlife involved gorging yourself endlessly on screaming flesh. Bleh.
She'd appreciated being excommuniated.

Now that she mentioned it, "Would you be happy with going back to your world? If we win and what we've been promised is true..." she asked curiously... and immediately after narrowed her eyes in thought. If they overthrew the Daligig... would they still be able to get back their worlds?
no subject
Her eyes looked wistful. "There are a lot of people there that I would miss. Debts unpaid, if the world is restored I should return to pay them. But we need more information!" She moved her hands as though slapping around an invisible face. "We need to know what happens when a universe vanishes - where does all that energy go? What happens to the place where it was? Do the universes around it expand to fill in the empty space, or is there something else there?"
"But if all we can accomplish is to stop the Ohm, and save uncountable lives and life in universes they will never touch," she spun in place, hair drifting, "that will be happiness enough. Even if my own dead, stay dead."
