All work and no play makes you a dull boy! [Open Post/Event]

After the announcement over the network, Splicer set off to break out the snacks he had stored, the drinks and set the out on the club floor. He wanted people to have fun and enjoy some care free time. Morale had been fluctuating as of late and a good head kept the troops going in times of strain. What better way to pick up morale than a good fun time with friends and just kicking back and doing your thing?

That's why he was now occupying his booth and taking any requests for the people that came by, greeting and waving at fellow crew and friends. He intended to make this as fun as possible for each and everyone. Good times seemed to be scarce in the future to come, so he'd do his best to make this one of the good ones.

She downed half the glass in one shot, then pointed to the bowl of pretzels sitting atop the table.

"Now, since you so kindly offered your taste buds to me, I'm afraid I'll have to (joyfully) abuse them!"

Splicer laughed and shook his head, taking a handful and holding them close.

"Well, I guess I did offer huh? Help yourself to as much as you'd like. You don't seem to indulge often, so have whatever you want for as much as you'd like MF."

"No, I don't, but if you'd really (really) like to indulge me, you'd eat shellfish! I'm so disappointingly (and severely) allergic to it, I'm afraid."

"Hot damn, really? I love shellfish. I'll be makin' sure I get some next shoreleave and invite ya over for a seafood extravaganza. I ain't as good as Alice, but I make some damn good food if I do say so myself."

"Really? My! Keep your word and you'll be a true gentleman and a scholar," she joked. "But absolutely! Even if I don't venture out of 'Mother', I still plan to piggyback those tastebuds of yours and the delicious, delicious seafood they consume (yum, yum, yum!)."

"When have I not kept my promises to you MF?" he grinned and gave her a thumbs up. "Don't ya worry none, I'll make sure it's the best damn seafood you've ever tasted."

"True enough--you're an oddly honest sort, but maybe that's just because you know I can read your mind," she teased. "Wouldn't be the first."

"Naw, I'm always honest unless I'm on the field and my mission required it. Which it usually did since I tended to have to impersonate someone. But even so, I don't think I could lie to a pretty face like you." he teased back with a wink.
