Is Your Love Strong Enough? Part 2 - Personal Interwoven Soulcatchers
Following you awakening and talking with a few of the members through the communication systems by way of the three kind people who had awakened her, Nezaitben realized how the crew was stuck in a terrible mess.
So many of them felt sad and depressed. Considering the entire ship, it wasn't too hard to see why. The next day, there had been an unusual amount of magical flowers spreading all over the ship. Nothing that damaged the controls (she might be naive in the way humanoids were, but Nezaitben was no fool either) but they were found in the most unexpected of places. Her own awakening area was now blooming in a flower paradise, the wooden palace standing proudly on top, the smell and pink cherry blossom strong enough to carry through most of the central city area where most people resided.
Yet the ship was still sad.
This would not do.
That night, or what passed as a night for in the ship, Nezaitben took to the 'sky', letting pieces of her own essence fall on top of the sleeping populace, or those that were not sleeping finding themselves feeling the need too. Enveloping the ship into a peaceful slumber, she searched their dreams. The powers granted to her by the pantheon of gods in her homeworld allowed Nezaitben to weave a series of dreamcatchers giving her the ability to see those whose hearts connected true.
These noble souls would do. Lead by example had always been her philosophy. She would give them a great gift - communication with each other in a single body, allowing them to share everything together. Their two soulcatchers were woven together that night into a single, grand ones, hanging in the garden's trees.
A few minutes later, the empty husks of the bodies that weren't being used showed up at her palace. With a smile, she welcomed them like her own children and began to dress them for their task.
That morning, some of the crewmen would wake up to a strange surprise...and that would just be the beginning of a long, strange misunderstanding and young gods trying too much to please everyone.
[OOC - Just a few rules. Keep in mind the listed rules. You can all start your own threads of waking up in the bodies of others. If you feel like leaving a 2nd post for other people to intact with them, start a reply to your own first post with OPEN header. That way everyone else will know where to post and if you don't feel like having an open interaction post right away, you won't have to!
There will also be another post for all the soulless characters to go around spreading joy and love, so look forward to that too!]

Well that's just great. Now I have to be careful with everything I say!
no subject
There's a suspicious note there. What has she been thinking that she doesn't want him to know about?!
no subject
I'm going to kill whoever did this, punishment be damned. This one was to herself, but Zetta most certainly heard it.
no subject
Lash's lips curled into a patented Zetta smirk.

How can you even joke in a time like this... Granted Lash had never been stuck inside a book or had her soul moved around so this was just complete confusion and maybe a bit of fear as well. What if they were going to be stuck like this for a good while?
Tentatively, she tried to stand up and take a step forward so she could jump off the building and go towards the center of it more or at least her Neotank that was parked far from there, but all she got was a nice trip and rolling right off for her troubles.
Shit!

And they were still falling. She tried to grab one of the sides of the nearby wall, but she was just a tad too far.
no subject
Trust. Something that did NOT get spoken about between Wunderkinds and Overlords. He was evil and she was, well, Lash. Trust didn't enter into it. Except... well, it just had.
Also, he trusted her.
no subject
"No."
And then they died.
no subject
...Alright.

Think transforming into a Power Ranger is impressive? Now, for the moment, she had all the power of an Overlord at her disposal. Zetta used this power in the most direct way: turning in midair so they/she/whatever landed feet first and one fist down on the ground, hard enough to punch an impact crater into the ground.
The mana flowing through them kept the body unharmed.
no subject
She tentatively tried to take a step forward again and tripped again.
Oh for the love of...
no subject
And I still have my mana power, even in your body.
no subject
Although the fact she now had the Overlord's powers...or well Zetta had the Overlord powers in her body was pretty neat. He could probably hear that thought as well. Lash was an open book in her thoughts.
Haha get it, wow that's bad. Thanks for saving me--well us by the way.no subject
Oh crap. If I'm here... Where the hell is the Sacred Tome?!
no subject
"Oh shit!" the vocal cords of the body said. "We have to find it!"

Wunderkind and Overlord,
Bad fall, no footing.
Which is to say Lash's entire body fell right into the crater again.

Okay. He grit his teeth (mentally), then did his damndest to work with Lash on moving those hands. It felt incredibly weird, given that her stats were so much lower than his, but that sort of made it easier. He didn't have to slow himself down or use less strength than he expected.
no subject
Wow that was much bigger than I imagined. Now how are going to get there fast enough... She was thinking to herself, but Zetta could no doubt here everything. Unless... Until she had an idea anyway.
"You...want to try taking over the body again and just flying over there?" she offered. She wasn't too sure how she had managed the first place, she she was willing to try, if it meant that they'd be able to get their faster. She sort of didn't want his body to be lost, after all. The prospect of not having any physical form to interact with, sensoriums or not was upsetting her as she realized it might actually happen.
no subject
That's right. He didn't want her to get hurt.
no subject
And while she appreciated the idea of not getting hurt...
Maybe if I use my Ranger suit, it would make it less damaging? The thing does boost my stats-- woops now she was speaking like him...I mean adrenalin and fighting power. I can already jump high in thanks to it, maybe...can you make it so I can just jump longer?
There had to be a solution to this. Just bending the rules enough so it would work. They could figure out how to properly make the body function much later.
...If there was a later.
no subject
He yanked just a little bit of his raw power into their body. Having forgotten entirely about rescuing the Sacred Tome for the moment out of sheer indignity, he wasn't boosting her body's power or anything. No, he was just pushing the status screens he saw into her field of vision in turn.
