Lirath - The Coming Storm
After receiving the warning the Tapestry had provided them, along the order to begin preparations from Councillor Kang, the crew had been getting ready for upcoming combat with the Ohm.
Unfortunately, the rather vague nature of the warning they received meant they had no particular way of knowing exactly when this battle would occur. Understandably, this put some of the crew on edge, but at the very least they had some prior warning that they would be facing the Ohm, rather than being thrown blind into such a dangerous situation. Combat drills, vehicle maintenance and armory inspections seemed to be regular sights for the week or so following Kang's message. Not much time to prepare, but the crew worked with what was given to them.
Eventually, however, the call came.
||Alert, Alert,|| Stacy called out throughout the ship, ||Priority One message from GIA High Command. All crew members please report to the Obs Deck. Repeat, Priority One message from GIA High Command, All crew members please report to the Obs Deck...||
Stacy kept repeating the message over and over until the crew began making their way towards the Obs Deck to receive the message.
[ooc: As implied by the post, we're assuming the crew's ICly had a one-to-two week heads-up about the battle. It was supposed to be played out, but RL timing prevented this from working out. Feel free to come up with the details of your character's preparations on your own
Also, as usual, please wait for subthreads to go up before tagging in.
Edit: It's up! Feel free to start tagging in!]

The red-head was up on deck soon enough, brushing off the side of his jacket before glancing around to see who else snapped up there like he did.

She wouldn't have her Gundam for this, but she was sure she would still be fighting. The only thing was finding out where and how.

She was ready with what she needed to have as well as having Seraphiel perched on her shoulder. She didn't bother to remove her helmet until she really needed to.

He'd have to put on a brave face and hope his team felt more confident than he did. Some strategy might help them survive if they weren't completely, hopelessly overwhelmed.
Whatever was coming, he hoped it was beatable. He kept his head bowed, holding the power coin in his hand in a painfully tight grip. Don't fail him now.

Re: Arrivals
The crew would be facing their greatest challenge yet, and Cargn knew it better than most. Not all of them would be returning from this battle.
Things would change, and not necessarily for the better.
He looked down at his gauntleted hand, a small white flame appearing within. He closed his fist, extinguishing it. He had been doing his own preparations as well.

Re: Arrivals
As he approached, he seemed rather calm, untroubled by the thought of coming battle. This was, of course, not very unusual for Age, as he rarely ever felt concerned or nervous about fighting.
Still, it was likely a rather strange sight for just about anyone else, who would likely be feeling the pressure from all the preparation that had come before this.

The archaeologist rubbed at his eyes as he hurried over to the Obs Deck. It looked like there a large crowd gathering already. Daniel began the task of slipping through the crowd to get a closer look.

So when she arrived at Obs deck, she donned her full regalia and a focused expression. However, what stirred within her was not nervousness, in fact, it was the total opposite... She was excited.

The Mission
Re: The Mission
"Greetings, crew of the Transmigration 9. I am Admiral Kasna of GIA High Command."
"We've recently received reports that the major colony on the moon Lirath has recently come under initial attack by an Ohm force the size of which we've never seen before concentrated in a single area. GIA forces in the area have been mobilized to protect the evacuation process, but they've already begun suffering heavy casualties."
"Refugees that have been successfully evacuated from the battlefield are being brought to our colony on Balisair. There have been some difficulties with the colonists in regards to the refugees, but we don't have any better options as far as evacuation sites go."
Holograms appeared surrounding the video screen, showing details of the system the battle was taking place, along with current reports on how the battle was progressing.
"I won't lie to you, the situation is bad. Things are going downhill faster than anyone could have expected."
"You're the closest vessel that's capable of helping them, and your ship is large enough to take on more than enough refugees to transport them to safety. You're also armed heavily enough to give our forces a fighting chance against the Ohm. You can also drop some of your non-combatant crew off at Balisair to help receive incoming refugees."
"I won't force you to help us fight this battle. But I do want to ask you to help our forces with the evacuation. There are millions and millions of innocent people down there, and our men are sacrificing their lives to save them."
"It is your decision, but please, help us."

Final Preparations
This would be their last moments of peace before the battle, so final preparations were under way. Supplies and weapons were being distributed, along with Thorn Armor, Stacy's combat-equivalent of the plant suits.
Those deemed noncombatants or those who volunteered were all being ready to be sent down to the planet below to help with receiving the incoming refugees. They were being gathered in the Obs Deck for deployment.
This would be the crew's last chance to say goodbye to everyone that was going down.

Otherwise, he had on his new riding gear on over the armor, something he'd made after Kang's warning, a handgun and ammunition in case he and Toothless were ever downed, and other odd useful sundries for the battle.
It wasn't much altogether though. Compared to how some others might pack their things, he was going light. He needed to. They had to be maneuverable.
There were a few people he was looking for, before the fight. They wouldn't be fighting side by side since he'd be in the air with Toothless. He wanted to talk to them juuust in case.
"Where are you?"
