Dearly Beloved...
The City didn't have weather as most people knew it, but it was nonetheless a beautiful day - warm weather with a nice breeze, Stacy's sun-equivalent shining in the sky... almost as if it was reflecting the emotions of at least one of the ship's crew. In the middle of the Park, someone had set up a little white lattice archway amongst the hedgerows, decorated with ivy and roses and lilies that looked remarkably real (if they were, in fact, synthetic). In front of the arch were several rows of white chairs, more than enough for anyone who cared to show up.
It was a beautiful day for a wedding.
And frankly, Nanoha needed it. After the chaos and confusion; the rage and terror on Galilee... she didn't think she could ever forget that horrible sense of loss and emptiness when she'd thought that Fate was gone, if only for a day or so. But this would go a long way toward exorcising those demons - a day that she'd dreamed of for years.
Of course, she couldn't go greet anyone yet. She was in her wedding dress, after all! These things needed to be proper.

ARRIVAL / MINGLING
Re: ARRIVAL / MINGLING
So today, she was happy to share in their special day. Being here gave her faith there would be more weddings soon, and hopefully show people could stay together, fighting and loving and supporting each other in the most dire times.
And for now, she would ease herself into mingling, eating a few snacks. She hoped she could find a few people she knew.
She hoped the dress wasn't too much!

He still had a ghost of a limp when he walked over, but he hoped the looking fancy covered it well enough. Looking over the scene, he couldn't help but smile, getting the same feeling that he guessed everyone else did. That they weren't on a ship sailing into a war with no clear outcome, but in a place -- a place that would feel like some sort of home, because happiness was what truly sealed making a home what it was.

She walk-runs around the park in her (expertly-tailored, of course, if not as fancy as Testarossa's) tuxedo, straightening decorations and quietly, respectfully yelling at ushers to in turn quietly, respectfully make sure everyone gets seated properly. This was the most important ceremonial day in the lives of the two people she's closest to without actually considering family, and damn her if it wasn't going to be exactly how they wanted it.
"You. Fix that flower arrangement, would you?" she asks of someone before even registering who they are.

She looked excited. Dhianeila simply loved events like these. Happy events with a group of happy people. After their reports from the last mission, she was happy to have something like this to remind everybody that it was important to focus on the good.

Re: ARRIVAL / MINGLING
In place of the aged, grey robes he normally wore, Cargn had on a bright white ceremonial robe, kept pristine for special rites and occasions. Over his eyes, he wore a white blindfold, to keep the rather frightening appearance of his empty eye sockets from detracting from the jovial mood of the ceremony. And instead of carrying his normal, skull topped staff, he opted for a simple cane, topped with a golden, twin headed eagle.
He seemed rather pleased to be there, judging by the warm smile on his wizened face as he sat at one of the benches. After all, despite his rather normally grim appearance, even Cargn knew a wedding was an occasion to be happy.

But still, she did her best to greet everyone! Feel free to chat with

At the moment, he had once again taken the guise of Clark Kent, wearing a nice suit and having his hair combed back. It was probably a matter of time before someone realized who he was. At this point, it probably shouldn't be a problem.

"It's, it's just so beautiful!" Pinkie exclaimed in between melodramatic sobs. "I promised myself I wouldn't cry, but..."
She inhaled, then blew loudly into her handkerchief. And then sobbed some more.

Immediately prior to the wedding doesn't seem like the time to start, so she just sits down near the back in a fancy green dress, considering finding someone she does know to chat with.

So yes. It was one thing making those promises to herself, but it was another to say it out loud in front of a crowd of people. Her nerves are totally justified.

POST-CEREMONY
(ooc: Congratulate the happy couple. Mingling and thread-hopping is encouraged!)
.../sneaks back in
Well, there were a lot of ways to describe it, but in the end they knew best what they now felt. There wasn't much point to her trying to put it into words, was there?

RECEPTION / MINGLING
Looking for Anwei
So he strode up to Anwei, only slightly nervous. When the music slowed a bit, he opted for the old-fashioned approach; bowed slightly, hand out. "May I have this dance?"

Well, okay, that was a bit of an exaggeration, but that didn't change the fact that she didn't really socialize all that much.

There was no mistaking the look in their eyes, the love and the devotion there: with all that had happened lately, she thought the ship had needed it, and she was blowing her nose as inconspicuously as she could.
But obviously noise travels, so feel free to make fun of her.

"It isn't quite tradition to pass off gifts now, but this is one I suspect you'll want to have ready access for." He turned his palm upward, letting the globe of golden light drift about an inch up for one of them to take.
"That locking spell, as promised."
