Cascade [Open party time!]

Billy had just launched another portal in that maze of mazes, exhaustion setting in. Surely this time he would land on another moving platform of death?

Nope, just the exterior of the finished bathhouses. All polished, systems running, and just about ready to open! Given how sore and exhausted he was, that sounded like an excellent idea at the moment.

With a quick message to the rest of the crew, he set out the 'Open' sign for the first time and took advantage of his owner status---the prime waterfall spot could be his!

((ooc: The bathhouses are now open! Feel free to mingle around, relax, and have a party. Or cause trouble, but that might invite more trouble. Just start a subthread with your character's location and have fun. For reference there are individual showers in front, followed by hot tubs centrally located, saunas further back, and private baths along the side. The showers, tubs, and saunas have smaller sex-segregated units along with a central group unit that's larger.))

Mild surprise didn't stop Starfire from finishing her work. "Most people who fear aliens notice my eyes first. Human eyes do not have a green glow." Unless those humans are magically possessed or very ill, that is.

She finished by sweeping the suds over Alessa's back one last time. "There. Do you feel clean?"

"I should have been paying attention to the eyes," Alessa replied. "Then again, a place like this is likely the only one where I can afford to be a little vulnerable. I shall be more attentive in the future, bath or no."

She smirked here. "A demon like me never truly feels clean, but you did an adequate job. I fee a bit more relaxed."

Starfire inclined her head, pushing some water over her own shoulder. "I am not a danger to you," the girl promised. "I only wish for all of you to be happy."

She flashed a tiny smile, still worried about the demon girl. "It is good to relax, but is there anything else I can assist you with?"

"I cam tell that," Alessa said, but she was not being arrogant, just stating a fact based on observation. "You remind me of Sasami that way."

She looked at her thoughtfully. "What would you be able to help me with, alien girl?"

"Sasami..." Starfire smiled at the mention of her friend, then felt guilty. It had been an awfully long time since they'd met, hadn't it? She should see if the other girl was willing to catch up. "I know her. We have worked together toward that goal."

Starfire planted her chin in her hand. What could she do...well, Raven hadn't liked it, but maybe this was an opportunity! "Your hair?"

[identity profile] demon-alessa.livejournal.com 2011-01-13 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
"That is good then," Alessa replied. "She possesses an innocence rare in humans. She has also befriended me when many would not. Tell her nothing of this, but I am indebted to her in certain ways."

She blinked. "My hair? Well yes, I suppose."
starbolts: (^_^ Most wonderful!)

Starfire nodded, placing a finger over her lips as she'd seen the others do. "I will not speak of it." But she was happy to hear it all the same.

Score! The alien girl giggled. "I promise that it will not be painful. Perhaps on a day when there is not much to do."

She figured she would keep it. As she said, Starfire reminded her a lot of Sasami.

She shrugged. "Unless you're planning on impaling me, I have no reason to believe it would be painful. What sort of thing were you thinking of?"
