Cascade [Open party time!]

Billy had just launched another portal in that maze of mazes, exhaustion setting in. Surely this time he would land on another moving platform of death?

Nope, just the exterior of the finished bathhouses. All polished, systems running, and just about ready to open! Given how sore and exhausted he was, that sounded like an excellent idea at the moment.

With a quick message to the rest of the crew, he set out the 'Open' sign for the first time and took advantage of his owner status---the prime waterfall spot could be his!

((ooc: The bathhouses are now open! Feel free to mingle around, relax, and have a party. Or cause trouble, but that might invite more trouble. Just start a subthread with your character's location and have fun. For reference there are individual showers in front, followed by hot tubs centrally located, saunas further back, and private baths along the side. The showers, tubs, and saunas have smaller sex-segregated units along with a central group unit that's larger.))

Billy would likely consider this his favorite moment of the past little while. Solitude, warmth, numbing all that pain? What more could he want?

He sat under the wide waterfall pouring into the tub, leaning into the water pouring over his back. After three days of testing, having a moment to collect himself before meeting up with the others was a wonderful opportunity.

"...I think I need to adjust the jets," he frowned, leaning over to twist a knob. With that much pressure they could blast swim trunks off. Not good.

Wow, it really was a bathhouse!

Negi showed up in his Nagi form, because nothing said awkward like a little kid mingling in nothing but one of Rein's handmade yukata. He was grinning widely though as he stepped into the men's section.

Of course being the mens section of the bathhouse, and this being Negi, the chances of seeing a significant other naked just went up by two hundred percent.

"Oh this is so awesome Aniki," grinned Chamo.

After inspecting her finished project for a bit (she designed it, it was as much hers as anyone's) and leaving several bottles of booze for people to stumble across, Mei-Xing relaxes in the hot tub, taking a swig of the vodka she'd been saving for a special occasion. She wasn't very far into the bottle, but she'd mixed in some engine cleaner with this batch. It had a kick, and every time she took a swig, she had to gasp for air.

Still... Relaxing like this, strategically placed a water jet, she could almost imagine she was somewhere civilized. It got a happy sigh out of her.

Cue significant other appearing, as Asuna was on the women's side of the bathhouse! She was also wearing nothing but a yukata herself, though hers wasn't handmade. Or maybe it was; she wasn't quite sure.

The girl blinked in confusion as she heard a very familiar voice coming from the men's side, then shook her head while casually getting ready to relax.

Must've been my imagination... she thought, humming lightly under her breath.

The swishing of water alerted Negi to the arrival of someone as he leaned over the small divider. "Sounds like someone's in already," remarked Negi as he shucked his yukata off and padded over to the water.

With a sigh, he slid into the water and leaned back, undoing his hair tie. "Oh man this is the life," he grunted happily.

With the misty room, he didn't notice he slipped into the mixed bathing area, and that Asuna was sitting across from him, obscured by the mists.

"My, my, Billy." Mei-Xing leers openly, leaning against the wall. She grins, his trunks flying from the pool to her hand. She inspects them critically, stretching the waistband with two hooked fingers. "I didn't know that this was a clothing optional area."

Oh, the possibilities that were now open... She bites her lower lip, fighting to keep from giggling openly.

Asuna sighed under her breath, continuing to hum lightly as her yukata was left on the floor, the girl vaguely noted that someone else had entered.

Must be one of the other girls; no way would a guy be stupid enough to enter here! she thought while making her way over, not able to see who it was due to the mists.

Celena had been idly tinkering in her abode she had noticed the message over the omnicomms from Billy about the Bathhouse, she had noticed his absence the last while. Thus deciding that she'd had enough tinkering for the moment she'd taken wing over towards the Bathhouse.

It wasn't long before she'd padded in through the doors of the fully constructed bath house, it was pretty much as she had imagined it, but to see what she had aided in designing and constructing finished was a satisfying thought.

Hearing Billy as she walked past one of the rooms she gave a soft chuckle as she peered into the room, "It is understandable that some things may still require fine tuning,"

Negi sighed as he leaned back, stretching out. His back was turned to Asuna as he hummed, half submerged. His voice was very light however for a male one, and from the tone he sounded rather female, plus his slender fighters build not giving away his identity.

Asuna could've sworn that, for a second, she knew the person in front of her; had one of the other girls shown up and she didn't realize it? Shrugging, she stopped humming once approaching Negi and placed a hand against the nape of his neck.

"Want me to scrub your back? I try to do this for...someone I know back home every now and then, but he just never seems to appreciate what I do for him! Least, not when it comes to the bathing."

Billy, predictably, responded by biting back a yelp and reddening even more than the heat warranted. Using magic to harass other bath-users would have to be against the rules. When he drafted them. Which he definitely should have done before opening the place.

Well...at least the water was slightly cloudy from the minerals. That helped. "It is, but only on specified days," Billy answered in as polite and businesslike a tone as he could manage. "And today isn't one of those days. Could you please return my trunks?"

It seemed like more and more there were things that made Sasami feel like home. The addition of the baths made things even more welcome. Stepping into the girls side baths, she let herself relax inside the water, the only thing she regretted was that she didn't have her usual hair ties - she never thought she'd get a chance to do this - thus her long, blue hair floated around like some sort of creature.

Relaxing, she closed her eyes and just let herself enjoy the feeling of it all. It had been a rough week for her.

Ocrap.

Oh crap oh crap oh crap.

He knew that voice.

Slowly turning around, he found himself eye-to-chest with Asuna. "H-hi... Asuna-san," he said, swallowing hard.

Chamo quickly escaped.

This was going to be messy.

Celena! Billy didn't mind interruptions from her. Her help had been much appreciated.

"No project is ever perfect, so in the eyes of some it's never complete. This is definitely a long-term project," he called lightly over his shoulder before turning to the edge and facing her. "Thanks for everything. It works better than I expected at first."

Asuna's eyes widened and her cheeks flushed fiercely as she found herself eye-to-chest with her sensei...realizing that he'd used the Age Candy to get inside and was in his Nagi disguise!

Wait.

Negi was naked. In the women's bathhouse.

And he'd just seen her equally naked.

"...You BAKA NEGI! WHAT ARE YOU DOING OVER HERE?!!!"

Ever since his talk with Eva, Kang had been acting a little more like himself, spending more time in the tavern and trying to be social. He'd actually forgotten about the bathhouse project; he'd offered to help, but had been sent on that damn mission before he could do anything. Inspecting the place (and being careful to avoid the women's only areas), he had to admit, they'd done a good job. He didn't plan on utilizing it, but from the other set of memories, he knew it was probably going to become a favorite place for a lot of the others.

The waterfall was a nice touch. And there was Billy underneath of it, looking entirely embarrassed. Spotting Mei-Xing nearby and what she held in her hands, the bozak immediately knew why, and couldn't help a slightly amused grin.

"A-Asuna-san!" stammered Negi, getting up and then immediately submersing himself. "This is the Co-Ed section I thought!"

Oh this was turning from bad to worse in an instance.

And yes, it was the Co-Ed area. But mostly meant for couples comfortable for being naked together.

Mei-Xing laughs at the very ideagives Billy's request the time and respect it deserved. She looks at him, mouth curling in the way that implied the cloudy water wasn't protecting his dignity any, and stretches his trunks again.

...Right before stepping into them and tugging them up, tightening the draw strings so that they wouldn't fall off her hips. "I say we make it one of those days." She bends down, picking up the bottle she'd brought along to celebrate the completion, and heads over to slip into the tub.

Never has there been a smugger elf in this facility.

"...You wandered over TO THE WOMEN'S SIDE!" Asuna cried out, face resembling a tomato as she saw Negi from head to toe before slamming her hand onto his head which literally submerged him underwater for a few seconds.

"Didn't you hear me over here?! Or were you too busy talking with that stupid ermine?" Oh, yes - she knew it had to be his idea for Negi coming in here; she'd make sure Chamo got his later.

"I thought it wasn't segregated in this part of the building!" defended Negi, blushing crimson red seconds before he was submerged.

"Hey hey Anesan, check it," said Chamo, pointing at the sign that clearly was marked with a man and woman close together. "You're BOTH in the Co-Ed area."

Celena took a few steps into the room, giving Billy a smile as she dipped her head. "Quite true indeed, it looks to have gotten off to a good start however, I am sure that it will only get better in time," she replied easily as she took in the room and the waterfall that fed into the spa.

"You are most welcome, happy I could be of assistance," Dipping her head with a smile to Billy as she took a step up to the edge of the tub and inspected the water, dipping a claw in to test the warmth, "It does seem to be working quite well, from what I see,"

The girl took about 1/2 a heartbeat to realize that the two indeed were in the Co-Ed section...before closing her eyes, balling one of her hands into a fist and slamming it against Chamo's face as well as the upper half of his body!

"...GET OUTTA HERE IF YOU WANNA LIVE TO PERFORM ANOTHER PACTIO!"

Oh, hello Kang. Billy would like to ensure that you're all right after what he's heard from the others, really he would, but there's an elf intent on distracting him right now. Kang receives a terse nod, for Billy knows he won't receive sympathy for this.

He slides to the other end of the tub, unpleasantly hot. "I say we don't. I appreciated your work, and your offer," he added to Kang, "but this isn't exactly what I had in mind. And the last I checked, clothing optional didn't mean taking an option to...commandeer others' clothing."

And his relaxing day is out the window.

Katara had been really excited when she heard Billy was back, and more so with the news that the bathhouse was finished. With glee she had stripped down to her white underclothes and was already settling into the tub whens she noticed a bottle here. Quizzically, she opened it and took a sniff, wrinkling her nose.

Strong, she thought, and took a polite sip, coughing a little as she put it down, then closed her eyes. A moment later the water was bubbling even more furiously, and she added another jet of steam with a wave of her hand.

"Oh, hi!" She said, noticing Mei-Xing. "I'm sorry, was this bottle yours?"

Billy leaned up on his elbows, pleased to have her approval at least. "Is there anything I can do to repay you for this? You worked harder than almost anyone."
