Billy had just launched another portal in that maze of mazes, exhaustion setting in. Surely this time he would land on another moving platform of death?
Nope, just the exterior of the finished bathhouses. All polished, systems running, and just about ready to open! Given how sore and exhausted he was, that sounded like an excellent idea at the moment.
With a quick message to the rest of the crew, he set out the 'Open' sign for the first time and took advantage of his owner status---the prime waterfall spot could be his!
((ooc: The bathhouses are now open! Feel free to mingle around, relax, and have a party. Or cause trouble, but that might invite more trouble. Just start a subthread with your character's location and have fun. For reference there are individual showers in front, followed by hot tubs centrally located, saunas further back, and private baths along the side. The showers, tubs, and saunas have smaller sex-segregated units along with a central group unit that's larger.))

The mention of the mill catches his interest. Jamie's certainly not an expert on them, but he's seen some back in his day. He's aware there's a lot of pieces that would need to be able to be fabricated in order to make a functional watermill.
"How were ye planning on doing the mill? I'd not thought we'd have enough wood to be able to put one together."
The smile's returned with one of his own, one of those crooked half-smiles, but it's there. "Aye, I did as well. You'll not get me to agree that I was glad I wasn't there to help, though."

Oh, Jamie. Always the ever-loyal friend. "I would have severely tested your patience," Billy tries to explain. "I never want to become that person again. It still hurts, it always will, but I'm functional again and grateful for that." Billy manages to get his smile to stop wavering.

Jamie reaches over again to thump Billy on the shoulder. "Good. If ye weren't, I'd worry." Not that he still isn't a little - especially when he catches a glimpse of that wavering smile. "Besides, I believe ye still have to show me what those smoothie-things are like. I'll not be able to think those up myself, ye know."
