Meet-n-Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a tall man in green armor and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

That wolf really was putting Kang on edge, despite the fact that it seemed to be under Harald's control; it could easily kill him if it felt so inclined. Seeing those teeth didn't help to put him at ease at all.

Scales clicking, he pulled his omnicomm out of a pocket in his kilt and pressed a few buttons, "They're insectoid, and have a hive mind; they rely on numbers more than anything, though there are a few different types that specialize in things like flight and stealth."

Don't worry, Kang. Your hide's too tough to make a good snack for Ulfrekkr. Chew toy, maybe.

"Like Tyranids, then?" Harald says. "I've plenty of experience against them."

Even a thought like that wasn't particularly comforting to Kang. "I've no idea what a Tyranid is, I'm afraid."

"Beasts much like you describe, devourers of worlds. Though never on such a scale..."

The thought seemed to shake even Harald. Unpleasant creatures, they were.

"Well, you have my blade, friend, even were it not forced in such a manner. Ulfrekkr and I shall claim our share of foes in the name of our fallen brethren."
