Meet-n-Greet
The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.
Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a tall man in green armor and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.
There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.
[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

...except that before he could tease the gargoyle, he'd turned to stone. Most interestingly, was the expression trapped on his face. He could always tease later, though.
Grinning, he patted the statue on the shoulder companionably, "You must be Elisa, then. I can't think of anyone else he'd greet in that manner."

He seemed friendly enough, though why one gargoyle should be stone while the other was flesh was...confusing. Still, if stone sleep was only six hours at a time, then maybe some were off-schedule from others?
It still didn't make any sense to her.

"So, been here long?" Conversation would have to do for now. She had no real idea how to find so much as the bathroom, let alone the thought of abandoning Goliath here, guardless.

"That's just perfect," Elisa repeated, grumbling under her breath, and turned back to Kang, "Look. I can't leave Goliath here by himself like this. Can you maybe give me a few pointers to the nearest burger joint or...space burgers. Whatever. I haven't eaten in..."
Months.

And off she trotted, manipulating the screen as she went. The Mess Hall was easily found— probably for a reason. The goo was....well, it was edible. Sort of.
It was disgusting.
But it was all there was, and after a silent bid for control of the gag reflex ended in Elisa's favor, such as it may be, she carried her tray back along the meaty halls towards Goliath.
But little did she know...

She was warm and the City was sealed and she was annoyed. She wanted to get down there and run and feel the open air in her coat and she couldn't.
It was pissing her off. And the other members of the crew were so loud and obnoxious. She couldn't stand them, couldn't stand being near them. They repulsed her. They wouldn't understand, they'd never understand why she didn't like to be up in the main part of the ship. They didn't understand how a part of her soul still cried out for the clean open air and the light of Aunt Luna overhead. They could be happy here without the familiar presence of a pack around them while she clung to the fraying tatters of her own.
They were ungrateful. They were stupid. And Bella hated it.
Footsteps. Who was that? Bella's hackles rose.
"Who is here?" she growled, turning to see whoever it was that had dared break her solitude. She only dimly noted she was drooling a bit and didn't bother to wonder why that was.
Get away from here get away get away get away...

"I'm Elisa Maza," she called out, only after a moment spotting the posturing wolf not twenty feet hence. Mentally she started mapping out escape routes, and cursing her luck as she slowly reached with one hand for her gun, holstered where it was under her jacket.

"You should not be here. You... should not be here." Who was this? A stranger violating her territory.
Oh hell that tore it. Bella snarled in earnest, seeming to increase in size with pure rage, then doing so for real as she surged upward into Hispo form.
"INTRUDER! GAIA DAMN YOU AND HELL TAKE YOU FOR VIOLATING THIS PLACE!"
The wolf, now a slavering beast the size of a small car, charged Elisa. She didn't know or care anymore what she was thinking or doing, she was angry and something needed to be broken over it.

Shit!
Elisa dropped the tray with a crackling clatter and finished drawing her gun in one motion. Adrenaline was hammering through her blood and she squeezes odd four shots before she realized that they weren't doing a damn thing. What was that thing about werewolves and silver? Useless, now; she threw the gun at Bella's head and turned to run, without any certainty of escape.

She didn't know about the virus.
Shit.
Cursing under his breath in Nerakese, he left for the mess hall, knowing that Stacy would make sure the gargoyle wasn't harmed. He didn't think that Elisa would be in much danger, but he had a bad feeling.
Inhuman yelling and snarls up ahead made him speed up, and when he saw what was going on, he didn't hesitate. He rushed right for the giant wolf, growling deep in his chest. "Elisa, move!"
...hopefully, Stacy would step in. He wasn't sure if he'd be able to take Bella down.

SLAM!
Something struck her, throwing her off course and into a wall. Bella snarled, whipping around and clamping her teeth down on the nearest part of whoever this was. They were in her way, they were obstructing HER DUTY and by Gaia she-
Energy tentacles lashed out of the walls, slamming the three of them apart at once.
||Crew members Bella, Kang, and Elisa Maza: Violence against other crew members is not permitted. Elisa: You have received your warning. Further rulebreaking will result in Violations, 15 Violations results in Punishment. Kang and Bella: You have been warned. You have each received 1 Violation.||
God bless you, Stacy. Bella twisted and roared against the tentacles, sinking her teeth into them and scrambling to try to free herself even as the bullet wounds on her body started to close automatically, expelling the pieces of lead as her natural healing factor activated.

The slimy appendage dropped her with questionable gentleness and Elisa immediately crumpled around her middle. She couldn't remember the time it had hurt this bad, and was too caught up in pressing back the blood to concentrate on anything so trivial. It was like an obscene red mouth had sprouted on her stomach. What was it they said in first aid? Apply pressure to the wound with both hands.
Goddamn, she was tired of this place already.

His struggles stopped when he smelled human blood, a lot of it, and saw dark stains on Elisa's stomach. This was bad. Stacy let him down, and ignoring the pain in his tail, he carefully picked the woman up bridal-style. "Hold on, I'll get you to the medbay. I came to warn you about a virus going around; now we're both going to have to sit in quarantine for a while."

THEY WOULDN'T LET HER GO.
Bella thrashed and snarled at the ship's restraints, severing energy tentacles with her teeth that vanished and were instantly replaced with more.
||Bella. You have received 1 Violation for refusal to cooperate.||
Stacy gave the werewolf a solid slam against a wall. Bella just yelped and continued to fight.
||Bella. Your refusal to cease fighting has made it necessary to administer a sedative to ensure compliance.||
||Administering sedative.||
The wolf howled in frustration as a tentacle bearing a syringe came forth, found an opening, and stuck her. She continued to struggle for a moment, then collapsed. Her body shrank back down to the size of an ordinary wolf as consciousness left her, and she fell to the deck with a flump as the tentacles receded.

Except, of course, it wasn't.
But for now, it was a bit late to do anything about it, except try to remember to breathe and try to hold her midsection in. The rest would be up to Kang.

His tail stung, but he ignored it; he'd dealt with far worse injuries before. "The virus comes with chills and a fever, and makes the infected very aggressive. That's why Bella attacked you back there. She's not normally like that." Briefly, he wondered how it would affect him if he'd contracted it, being cold-blooded.
