Meet-n-Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a tall man in green armor and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

"What? We hadn't heard of more...!" Surely Keith would have mentioned it at the very end, when they had both fought long enough.

"Universes, or mutants?"

Kang shook his head, "Before this ship, I didn't even know other worlds existed, let alone other universes. It's a bit of a shock, I know."

"And all of them are gone?"

"A good number of them. The ones that every person on this ship come from, at least," Kang's wings rustled.

"What kind of beings are the Ohm, to ruin that many lives?"

"I wish I knew," Kang muttered a curse in Nerakese. "We all do."

Facing the forces of the SD government, at least they had understood who they were fighting -- or Jomy had, at any rate, even if the rest of the Mu never managed. They were all human beings. But this entirely new force... where was he supposed to begin?

"Where is this ship going?"

Kang snorted, "Wish we knew that, too. Stacy doesn't tell us until we get there, or what we're supposed to do. It's damn inconvenient for planning."

A frown. "What is Stacy? She controls the ship, but..."

"Stacy is the ship, and she's about the size of a small moon. It's kind of creepy," Kang's scales clicked slightly. "But, you get used to it after a while. You have to."
