Meet-n-Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a tall man in green armor and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

Tsukasa heard the Gaia Memories. Moving through the crowd, he came upon two people he recognized. "Kazami, I see you've met another 'motorcycle enthusiast,' huh?"

He nodded to Philip. "Philip, isn't it; that odd detective's partner?"

Talking toys? What would they think of next?

As Tsukasa approaches, Kazami can't help but wonder... What did a toy salesman need with a motorcycle like that? "Can it be that you're simply slow, Tsukasa?"

He crosses his arms and looks down at Phillip, judging again. Is this Decade's way of trying to be clever again? No, Tsukasa was frail and feminine enough. There was no way that someone as fragile looking as Phillip was a Rider.

Decade. Of course. If anyone would have woken up it was him. Then it hit him. If Tsukasa knew Kazami... of course.

He adopted a little smirk as he touched his chin a little. "Sometimes things are doubled up in nature," replied Phillip, enjoying his word games. "Tsukasa is quite odd to be honest."

Tsukasa glared at his predecessor and successor. Raising a finger and moving it from side to side a couple of times, he said "Not slow, deliberate, Kazami. After all, one such as me has to know the right time to show up for every action, no?"

Turning to Philip, he said, "And as odd as I am, you and your partner still make me look normal by comparison."

"So you say." By now he's just ribbing at Tsukasa, even if his tone doesn't give a hint of it.

"Detectives tend to be odd. But how else could they do what they do if they weren't a tad eccentric?" Just look at all of the detectives in pop culture! Even Kazami had dabbled in the field, but that was mainly to keep an eye out for evil organizations and cults.

"Shotarou is one of a kind," agreed Phillip. "And not without his quirks such as overreacting and throwing his heart and soul into the case."

He hid a smile under his hand. Surely there would be a time to prove Kazami wrong that Double existed, but for now, he was content to letting things pass by, but not without taking a potshot at Tsukasa once in a while. "I'm sure being part of the motorcycle enthusiasts would be quite interesting."

A small smile appeared for a second on Tsukasa's lips. "We certainly wind up leading interesting lives after joining, Philip."

Turning to Kazami he said, "There's eccentric...and then there's comically wacky."
