Meet-n-Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a tall man in green armor and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

Tavros nods, taking all this in. Claim a respiteblock, chat online, see if he can be helpful. Nothing he can't do. If all the humans are as decent as this one, he feels a little better already.

He nods in response to this last thing.

"Yeah, I'll bet. I'd feel weird without horns. So, uhh, I'll just act like I didn't notice."

He grins. "You got it, Kiddo."

"Oh, and who're you?" He wants to have a name to attach to this weird troll kid. He's fun.

"Oh, wow, I'm sorry, I didn't even..." Tavros extends his hand. "I'm Tavros. Tavros Nitram. And you are?"

Grif shakes his hand.

"Dexter Grif. Just "Grif" works."

He picks up his handheld again. "And if you don't mind, I'm gonna get back to killing some dinosaurs here."

Tavros nods. He isn't sure what he thinks about killing off creatures just like that, but it's not exactly his place to tell Grif what to do. He just got here, and he's not trying to get yelled at.

"Okay. It seems like I have a lot of, uh, stuff to do, anyway. Thanks, Grif!"

And there he goes. That's one baffled (but optimistic!) troll.
