Ship Work [Open]
Skimmed down just her plantsuit and her hair tied in a ponytail and tucked into the collar, Reimi was laying on a platform that hovered under the nose of the Calnus. While she wasn’t the most incredible mechanic in the world, she knew how to repair her own ship. After all, it had gotten them out of a tight spot.
Adjusting the panel, she wiped her hands and picked up a data pad. The readout scrolled out in front of her and she stuck her tongue out in thought. “Mmm, needs a little more….”
Currently, she was trying to make sure that the auto-repair function was going to be ready for any situation. Picking up a spanner, she adjusted the bolt one last time and entered some code into the machine.
So involved in her work, she didn’t notice that anyone could just come up and talk to her at any given time.

She holds up her left hand, and points a finger at the flight ring. "The best 31st century technology that Brainiac 5 and Invisible Kid pooled their minds to create." Well, maybe one of the most useful to the Legion as a whole. Because Querl's planet mover had been quite impressive.

The book, carried by his ever-present girl-fighter-minion, has evidently decided to yell this at no one in particular, after a surprisingly short amount of time spent poking around looking for whatever he was looking for. Patience isn't terribly high on the Overlord's list of virtues... that is to say, a list of the Overlord's virtues as seen by an independent observer. Were the Overlord to write a list of his own virtues, it'd start with 'badass', so, yeah.
"I'll settle for a damn Drill Tank! What's with all the mech designs with legs?! That's entirely impractical!"
This is what happens when someone announces that there's a lot of vehicles in the hangar in need of a purpose.

There's an immediately, almost hopeful change in the book's tone of voice.
"Is there a Super Battleship Yoshitsuna here?! Oh, if I could get my hands on that..."
no subject
"How many people does it take to man one of those Super Battleships?"
no subject
"So," he continued, having apparently decided this girl was the proper person to harass, "which of these ARE up for grabs? Normally I'd plunder them from a vanquished Netherworld, but those seem to be in short supply right now."
no subject
"As for what's available, um, I'd have to check the roster to see which mechs and ships are being used for it. How come? Building an army faction?"
no subject
"Army faction?" Zetta repeated, blissfully unaware. "I suppose. My loyal army of battle-monkeys could use some vehicular firepower to back them up. Levelling's been slow, so I'd love to crank up the pace a bit."

"Oi! What's up? Need any help?" he shouted out from the floor.

Pressing a button, she floated down to eye level and sat up, grinning a little. "Hey. Are you okay? After everything?"

"I'm glad you're safe though. I'm sure the weeks have been rough for both of us."

He shook his head, then focused elsewhere. "Say, what were you doing up there?"
no subject
She rubbed her head. "The problem with stuff from my world is that it's set up so that there's dramatic timing to all of it, so that things work in such a way that it happens at the best time ever."

"Sure, I could use some help. Some of this stuff needs two administrators to set up. I've already gotten it set up for two but I need a second pair of hands to input the commands."
