Ship Work [Open]

Skimmed down just her plantsuit and her hair tied in a ponytail and tucked into the collar, Reimi was laying on a platform that hovered under the nose of the Calnus. While she wasn’t the most incredible mechanic in the world, she knew how to repair her own ship. After all, it had gotten them out of a tight spot.

Adjusting the panel, she wiped her hands and picked up a data pad. The readout scrolled out in front of her and she stuck her tongue out in thought. “Mmm, needs a little more….”

Currently, she was trying to make sure that the auto-repair function was going to be ready for any situation. Picking up a spanner, she adjusted the bolt one last time and entered some code into the machine.

So involved in her work, she didn’t notice that anyone could just come up and talk to her at any given time.

Nura cocks a brow inquisitively. "Last minute saves?"

Well that's new. "You're from a video game?"

"You must have come from an incredible game, then," Nura remarks with a helpful smile.

Nura furrows her brow. "That can't be true."

Nura puts a hand to her face and outstretches an arm out and waves her hand in 'stop, stop' motion. "Please, no further descriptions. I see your point."

Nura nods her head, taking the powered screwdriver. "Sure thing." She drops a few feet in mid-floating before she's right by Reimi. She turns on the screwdriver and puts it to the bolts on the panel above the other girl. After unscrewing each bolt, she catches each one when they fall out.

"There you go."

"I've never really heard of 'Eldarian technologies', actually," Nura admits. "But I might be able to understand the inputs if they are earth standard, like you say."

"Team effort?" Nura muses. She looks at Reimi, putting her hands on her hips. "Is the warp drive practically an engine?"

Nura's brows rise. Wormholes? Slipstream? Now she's thuroughly intrigued. "I would appreciate that," she says.

"What if you're not there to repair the Calnus?" Nura muses.

"You could teach someone how to repair the Calnus," she offers helpfully.

She raises a finger. "But in the end, you'd be able to know that that Calnus would be taken care of when you're off on the battlefield or in any other situation," she explains expertly.

Nura pauses for a moment. Wasn't expecting that.

Before she coolly says, "Sure." Beneath the layer of nonchalance, she's capping down her excitement. "It'd help me in the long run with mechanics, and I'd be helping you out."
