Meet N' Greet!

It's big meeting time! Word of mouth gets everyone gathered in the Obs Deck--everyone. New, old, the entire crew is there and that makes it clear that there's close to a hundred of them, if not more.

When they've all arrived, a blue bubble pops up around them, courtesy of Blue Beetle, to block them all from Stacy's sensors. Most of the new people were given the basic rundown by Cybil or Chief when they were first released. Some of them have already joined a discussion with a the Commanding Officers and department heads. Some have had a chance to explore a bit. Some were only just recently released.

[ooc: READ THIS BEFORE TAGGING.]

"Doubt there waw a fight. Probably a democratic decision. Generally how humans do things." Wags says to Bella before turning to Sawyer.

"You're an idiot. One, because you're probably going to lose an arm if you keep calling her a dog, and two, we are probably going to need diplomacy instead of just killing things at some point. Picard can fight, but Klingons aren't exactly known for being good diplomats. No offense Worf."

Kate also stepped over, "Sawyer, back down. This really isn't the time and place. And do you HAVE A DEATH WISH? SERIOUSLY?"

Worf just nods at Wags.

"None taken."

The twins, mostly inclined to watch quietly when decisions are made, glance at each other. Murphy rolls his eyes and drawls, "Jesus Christ, no offense to the Poo-Bah, or to any of her followers, but I think our support goes to Picard, on account of he's made of fucking awesome things."

There's a pause, in which he thumbs derisively at Sawyer.

"Or anyone else what can get this fuck-faced home-wrecker to settle the fuck down, for that matter."

Robbie interjects here.

"Home-wrecker?"

Re: Command Change

[identity profile] st-aequitas.livejournal.com 2009-05-04 04:29 am (UTC)(link)
Murphy shrugs. "He sure did a good job on the Vatican. Wanker."

Re: Command Change

[identity profile] bostonbeatcop.livejournal.com 2009-05-04 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
Robbie takes a moment to digest this.

"The Vatican? What?"

"Aye, jus' started tearin' it t'pieces. @#$%head." They're still bitter about it, compromise aside.

There were two voices staring at Sawyer now going, "THAT WAS YOU?"

Nathan and Kate then glanced at each other for a moment before eyeing the argument again.

"Yeah, that was me," Sawyer replied. What the hell was with everyone and this whole 'sanctity of the Vatican' crap? "What of it?"

Re: Command Change *warning for language in thread*)

[identity profile] bostonbeatcop.livejournal.com 2009-05-04 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
"Wait, the Vatican is onboard this thing? And he tore it up? The Holy See?"

Robert is glaring at Sawyer now.

"It's one of the most sacred places in the world, and you wrecked it?"

Re: Command Change *warning for language in thread*)

[identity profile] ford-sawyer-815.livejournal.com 2009-05-04 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
"I didn't wreck it! I reinforced it. Now we all got a place to hide-out if $*!# get's crazy again," Sawyer argued in his defense. "Besides, it's not like I was the first one. Someone else ripped a big @$$ hole in the floor of one of the museums."

Re: Command Change *warning for language in thread*)

[identity profile] st-aequitas.livejournal.com 2009-05-04 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
"Weren't just one of the %$#&in' museums, though, were it? Was St. Peter's, he was melting *&^% down, like it dinnit even matter."

Dean's been hovering behind Sam protectively this whole time, just observing. But once it gets into the arguement about the Vatican, he speaks up.

"Y'know, we could all just agree to not rip apart other people's holy ground or whatever and be done with it instead of cussing at each other like a buncha fifteen year olds. Just saying."

Wow, hypocrite much, Dean?

"What the hell you talkin' 'bout, Willis? You helped me," Sawyer countered...of course the fact that he'd just outted Dean to the same Catholic ire that Sawyer had been receiving was just an added benefit.

Sam jerks his head to look at his brother. "You did what?" he asked, giving Dean a 'WTF were you thinking' look.

Re: Command Change *warning for language in thread*)

[identity profile] pie-bitches.livejournal.com 2009-05-04 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh, thanks for that," Dean replies to Sawyer, looking irritated. Usually Dean wouldn't care, but Sam looks at him like he just kicked a puppy, and Dean looks defensive.

"What? It's not like it's the real thing."

"What did you do, Dean?"

Introducing b*#%@-face number 67.

"It's not important, Sam. Don't give me that look," Dean growls, and yes, he's going to just keep getting more defensive.

Re: Command Change *warning for language in thread*)

[identity profile] thenameissam.livejournal.com 2009-05-04 06:07 am (UTC)(link)
"Dean..."

That's all he gets. Oh, and some more of b#%&@-face number 67.

"Oooo, someone got busted," Sawyer chuckles. "Better get talkin' Ace, Gary's gettin' kinda crabby."

Re: Command Change *warning for language in thread*)

[identity profile] pie-bitches.livejournal.com 2009-05-04 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
"Shut the #%&@ up, jackoff," Dean snaps at Sawyer, glaring at him. "This is none of your #%&@ing business, so butt the hell out."

Dean is cranky. Fighting constantly with Sam does that to him.

Kirk's face is creased by a frown. He's been watching this go on for quite long enough and he steps forward to intervene, giving them all a withering look, "ALright, that's enough. All of you. You," He jabs a finger at Sawyer, "Need to learn a little about common courtesy and respect. And the rest of you... arguing like this will get us nowhere."

The Chief has, without a sound, moved to stand near Bella. The werewolf has shown no intention of calming down and is still growling, glaring daggers at Sawyer. The Spartan doesn't like the look of the axe at her feet, or what he imagines she could do with it if she shifted up to war form with it in hand.

He sighs.

"Sawyer," he says, calmly, "A fortification was a good idea. But what told you it would be reasonable to tear apart something you know is sacred to other members of the crew? Without asking?"

There's a sort of tired, been-over-this-a-thousand-times tone to his voice. He thinks he has the measure of Sawyer by now.

Bella notices the Chief, and this just makes her even angrier. She wants to jump at Sawyer, not only has he called her a dog but apparently he has defiled a holy place. It didn't seem like a big deal when she was watching him do it, but there had been nobody swearing at him right then. The fact that she might put Plays-In-Traffic's cover in jeopardy is just barely enough to keep her down.

She snarls. "This one called Sawyer is worthy of no respect," she asserts, especially to the Chief. "Humans do not have word for "Omega". Lowest. Last in line, weakest. But he is. There is no reason to keep him. He is coward, he is weak, he shows no honor. Why would it matter if we killed him?"
