Leaning back in his chair, Apollo stretches while giving out a loud yawn. He'd holed himself up in the Sensoriums, leaving the entrance open in case someone really wanted to use them, for a few hours. A large stack of paper was in front of him, and the table and floor around him was littered with various bits of crumpled... No, folded paper. Paper crabs, paper cranes, paper frogs, paper bugs... He's obviously been busy. In his hand, held between two fingers, is the start of another folded paper project.
He looks at the paper and sets it down, leaning over the back of his chair and letting his arms hang loosely for a bit. He's been at this for too long, but somehow the whole 'wait for a crewmember to stop by the most popular part of the ship for a bit of conversation' plan failed. "Maybe I should have tried the cafeteria?"

"Oh, you're really good." Sofia said, not bothering to ask permission before strolling into the room. "Can you teach me?"

Apollo holds up a sheet of paper. "Have you ever tried origami before? Or even making a paper airplane?" It would help to have some basis, at least.

He smiled and held out a hand. "I don't think we've met. Name's Rei."

He stands and takes Rei's hand, giving it a friendly shake. His hand is warm, unnaturally so. "Apollo. Pleased to meet you, Rei. That's Japanese, isn't it?"

He approached curiously, noticing the paper creations in front of him. Paper folding wasn't an uncommon past time in Hyrule - some were quite familiar, too. "Those are good."

He glances at the paper littering the table and floor and gives a little nod. "Thanks. I get a lot of practice."

For which he was profoundly grateful - especially when it came to the texture.
He settled down, still holding his cup in one hand, picking up a paper frog in the other. "I would be quite out of practise, I think," Sheik said with a quick smile, "I haven't done this for a while. May I?"

Apollo waves a hand. "Go ahead. I was kind of hoping for someone to talk to anyway, this is as good a subject as any."

She wandered into the room further, glancing at the paper projects but choosing not to comment, for the moment anyway. "Unless there was some other reason you thought you should try the cafeteria instead?"

Apollo sits up straight, lacing his fingers behind his head. "Well, I figured that most of the crew would need to eat. It just made sense, you know?"
no subject
"So, do you have a name at all? Or do I get to invent one?"

Lyle has approached on soft feet, and he's examining the folded paper.
"Shame these aren't real. I'd have liked one of the little frogs."
no subject
Apollo glances at the origami and sits up straight. "Well, I didn't see any paper on-ship. I'd give it to you if you'd asked, though." Maybe if he asked Angie for some really thin metal? Naah.

Lyle is a bit amused by Apollo's posture. His pose doesn't exactly match his imposing build.
"I can't imagine why they'd have paper on board. I'm guessing there's a lot of paper where you're from?"
He's picking up the frog and examining it.

"I never had the patience for that kinda stuff." He pauses. "Or drawing. Or anything that really takes sitting down for any length of time."
