Leaning back in his chair, Apollo stretches while giving out a loud yawn. He'd holed himself up in the Sensoriums, leaving the entrance open in case someone really wanted to use them, for a few hours. A large stack of paper was in front of him, and the table and floor around him was littered with various bits of crumpled... No, folded paper. Paper crabs, paper cranes, paper frogs, paper bugs... He's obviously been busy. In his hand, held between two fingers, is the start of another folded paper project.

He looks at the paper and sets it down, leaning over the back of his chair and letting his arms hang loosely for a bit. He's been at this for too long, but somehow the whole 'wait for a crewmember to stop by the most popular part of the ship for a bit of conversation' plan failed. "Maybe I should have tried the cafeteria?"

Kon snorts and steps into the room.

"I never had the patience for that kinda stuff." He pauses. "Or drawing. Or anything that really takes sitting down for any length of time."

Apollo chuckles and sets the crane down, standing to get a better look at Kon. "I have a lot of downtime, I'm afraid. I'm always trying to find something new to do." He grins easily and holds out a hand. "Apollo."

"Okay, code name and you're built like a mack truck, so I'm guessing you're a meta."

He shakes Apollo's hand.

"Annnd a good grip. Yep." He grins. "I'm Superboy, although I go by Conner on the ship. Kon, for short."

Apollo laughs out loud this time and waves with his free hand. "No, I'm a post-human, not a 'meta'." He grins and lets go, mentally wondering who Conner had to piss off to be called something like Superboy. "Apollo's the only name I have. Sorry to disappoint."

"Post-human?" he asks, wondering what the difference is, and plopping backwards into a nearby chair. "And I get the one-name-only thing. For a while, I just went by 'Superboy' until I got my other names."

Apollo shakes his head. "Super Powered Being, really." It's not that important, he guesses. "You're some kind of experiment, then? Those must have been some cruel scientists, to name you 'Superboy'." He's grinning, though. Apollo doesn't mean any harm, he's just making chatter.

"That's a 'meta' where I'm from. Metahuman. ...or alien, in some cases. A cape."

He tilts his head, and smirks slightly, "Actually, I had the name given to me by Superman. The scientists called me Project 13. That's how many clones it took to get it right."

"Ah." Apollo frowns. Who wears a cape anymore? Other than Majestic, but that old tightass hasn't changed his uniform since before the 60s. Still, he'll be nice and not comment on the name. (So retro.) His face probably shows some amusement at it, though. "Well, it looks like they got it nailed down fairly well. You're walking and talking, aren't you?"

"Yeah. I guess I am." The smile fades just a little, but he tries to shove thoughts of the other 12 clones aside.

"So what are you? Human with an activated metagene, alien, Homo Magi...?"

"Biogenetically enhanced human." Apollo lets out a short laugh. "They erased my memory and made me one of the most powerful post-humans on the planet. Now I'm a member of the Authority." He has the shortest secret origin ever.

"That your world's Justice League kinda thing? Big group of heroes, elite superteam that protects the world, yada yada?" Kon asks.

He can't help but let out a tiny little snort at the name 'Justice League'. It's followed by a quickly stifled giggle, and he coughs and clears his throat. "Ah. Something like that, I guess. Justice League. pffffffft."
