Nova had heard everything she'd needed to hear. As it was, she didn't have much of an opinion of it. If it was all true, then she'd do what she needed to and kill these Ohm or whatever the hell they were. If it was a lie, well, it wasn't as if her current situation was much worse than the on she'd been in before she got here. Hunted by the Terran Dominion for the information she possessed, not to mention her desertion from the ranks. But if it was all lie, she'd play along until it looked like she would get hurt, then the first person who tried would see that she wasn't a helpless little girl. She stood at one of the large windows of the obs deck, staring out at the Bleed, or whatever it was that Stacy traveled through, as it flashed past. Dressed in a flowy sundress, she stood straight, hands clasped behind her back as she watched the myriad of colors flash by. The Ghost realized that her choice of outfit wasn't the most practical, but she'd spent the last few months confined to her Hostile Environment suit, hiding and running from agents sent to recover her. It was high time she rewarded herself with some real clothes. True, the dress was something recovered from an alien planet, a hand-me-down if you would, but she didn't care. It felt good against her skin, light and airy. It was a good feeling after months trapped in her clinging bodysuit. Turning from the window, she leaned against a nearby wall, arms crossed under her chest as she watched the various people filing in and out of the room. So many different people. Different species. Shutting her eyes a moment, she released the tight rein of control she usually held her psionics in check by, letting her mind wander over the thoughts of the nearby crew. Dancing lightly over the surface. The thoughts, the emotions she caught through her short moment of freedom, made her smile slightly before she exerted her control again. Opening her eyes, she focused on the people around the room, trying to determine which thoughts belonged to who. There. That must have been the man who hated this ship with a passion. And there, that girl was the one who wondered if the boy she liked would ever see her the same way. There, the boy who liked the woman but didn't know yet himself. And there, that man seemed to be one of the ones in charge. She let her eyes wander, assigning the individual thoughts to their possible owners. It had been a long time since she'd had time to simply relax and think. It felt good. Catching a stray thought - someone watching her? - she tilted her head in their direction, fixing them with an almost teasing gaze from her piercing green eyes. The look seemed to say 'I don't bite.'

The scene in the sensoriums was that of a run down shack in Miami. Michael is lying on a benchpress machine doing reps. "47... 48... 49... 50!" He sits up and sighs, "Well, it's not home, but it sure seems real enough." He gets up and moves over to the old fridge in the corner. He takes out a small carton of yogurt and opens it. It was blueberry, his favorite. As he takes a spoonful he smiles and raises it into the air, " Happy Birthday Michael, here's to hoping that someone you knew survived..."
As he eats the yogurt, he hears something behind him, " Who is it?"

Erwin was still in a state of mild shock after his arrival on board Stacy. The idea that his whole world and with it, everyone he'd ever known or cared about, his parents, his comrades, all gone. As surely as if they had been struck by a bomb. The very idea that there were weapons powerful enough to annihilate whole planets and universes stunned him. The fact that he, out of all people, had been saved seemed strange. He wasn't anyone important. He was just a footsoldier. An oberschütze from an infantry division in the German army. He wasn't an officer or a general or even a great politician. Why hadn't the ship saved Rommel or Guderian? Someone who was brilliant? As to why he'd been chosen, he had no idea.
After the breakup of the meet and greet, he'd taken the time to explore and poke around. He'd seen the cafeteria (the food there seemed even worse then army rations), the Sensoriums (which had spooked him, badly), and finally gone to look at the room he'd be staying in. He'd been pleasantly surprised there - a real bed, sheets, a shower. It was luxury compared to what he'd had in Russia or even in France. He'd returned to the observation deck, looking out into the stars. It was so strange to see them like this.
The strange, biological nature of the ship unnerved him even more. Still, he'd nowhere else to go. He pulled up a chair and sat down. He was rather glad his gear had come with him - he had a pack of cards in there, after all - and began dealing himself a hand of solitare, glancing up occasionally to see who else might wander by. Maybe he could interest someone in a game of skat or just idle conversation....

Temperance had stood at the enterance of the sensorium for a few moments before the room suddenly flickered a few times and the labs from the Jeffersonian suddenly appeared before her. Stepping inside found that she was holding her ID card, and her plant suit had suddenly taken on the more comforting look of her own clothes. Dark slacks, white blouse and sensible shoes. So much better than the clingy plant suit. She ran her ID card through the security reader, climbed the small set of stairs and grabbed her lab coat which had been tossed over one of the chairs. Slipping it on she wondered why she was even there. Maybe it was to stop thinking about the possibility that her whole wold was lost and to keep busy. It's not real, I'm going to wake up any minute and find that I was in an accident and have spent the last couple of months in a coma. It just doesn't make any sense, she thought with a bitter shake of her head. Pulling on a pair of gloves, she leaned over the remains of a young man's skull that was the subject of whatever case Stacy had pulled from her mind. Since she couldn't organize the irrational situation she was in, she could at least keep herself busy with the skull. She moved the pieces of the maxilar superior bone slowly around with her fingers until they were in order and applied a small bit of glue to a fragment she was holding and contined to slowly glue piece after small piece together. When the last of the of those fragments had been glued together, Tempe gently placed it on the table and was reaching for another fragment of the skull when she realized someone was watching her. "What do you want?" she asked barely lifting her gaze away from the tiny shards of bone.

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their number. After the recent revelation, many of them were even more eager to see people they knew from home.
Brainiac 5 and Sensor were set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings.
There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in. - Tags:!location: obs deck, !plot: pod release, aeneas, alia atreides, arha masaari, arrowette, atomic robo, bart allen, batman, cameron mitchell, captain kirk, captain picard, chris ramirez, damian wayne, ender, fate testarossa harlaown, gaius baltar, gandrayda, ghanima atreides, green arrow, guy gardner, hal jordan, ice, indigo, jamie mccrimmon, jason todd, jean grey, john hancock, kelly-087, kyle rayner, leon s. kennedy, lex luthor, luke skywalker, malcolm reynolds, michael westen, nanoha, nightwing, obi-wan kenobi, qui-gon jinn, robin, samus aran, sensor, sheeana, sir sparhawk, static, terry mcginnis, the major, wonder woman
