Somehow in the chaos of the Pod Pop (and the revelation about Brainy's great-granddaughter Indigo), Jeka and Brainy had somehow missed their omnicoms indicating that another Legion ring had been found and donned by its owner. Once they had realized it, they'd put someone else in charge of making sure that all of the new people received rings and omnicoms and went to look for the newly-awakened Legionnaire.

Jeka wasn't entirely sure who she hoped it was. Anyone from their universe would be nice, but what if it was someone from poor Brainy's universe? Or worse, an alternate-but-very-similar version of that Brainy?

"It looks like they're just around the corner up ahead," she said breathlessly, pulling ahead of her teammate. Please be someone we know...

In the Pod Caverns, there are the sounds of: Pop. Pop pop pop. Poppuhpoppoppop. KASCHUNKhiiiiiiiissssss.

There is condensation and mist spraying out from cracks in the pods, as the people inside slide out onto the floors, covered in slime.
