We've got Movie Sign! [Open]
Deep from the dank, dark bowels of the Media Library... IT CAME! FROM THE CELLULOID!
Five terrible movies guaranteed to give you CHILLS! THRILLS! Or maybe just, I dunno, a vague sense that the universe has wronged you somehow and you want several hours of your life back.
Today, anyone walking into this particular Sensorium would be greeted by the sight of a late 20th century darkened movie theatre, playing a quintuple-feature consisting of old Earth movies that were honestly not very good. At the bottom of the seating area was some dude giving out free popcorn, candy, and drinks.
Howard, Zouichi, Allenby, and Jr. were around, and anyone else was welcome to walk in and join in.
[each of the movies is listed below, just tag in wherever you want. I put a small link in each movie's post so you can have some idea of what the movie is about, although honestly I would say that the movies themselves often do not actually know what they are about. All threads are open unless labeled 'closed'.
P.S. I'M SO SORRY I SHOULD HAVE PUT THIS UP EARLIER]

"...this is so stupid~"

"My place is full of junk, and that little vacation planet got me a bit distracted from things~ You?"

Caz shrugged, glancing back up at the screen and scowling. "Is it just me, or does this stuff not make sense? I mean, is this supposed to be intimidating...?"
no subject
"By the way, I saw a television show featuring you at that 9 Flags attraction."
no subject
When Zou brought up the tape however, Caz's face contorted in to something between disgust and confusion. "You...what?"
no subject
So basically just buddies. "At least you didn't get the romance novels."

...
Caz visibly shuddered, squinching his face up and stuffing a handfull of popcorn in his mouth. He didn't even chew, just swallowed. No wonder Gamel "ate" so much candy, if anything else it served as a pretty good distraction from things.
"Wait, romance?" Caz quirked his brow past his hatbrim, not even paying the movie any mind anymore. "What bastard got stuck with that?"
Re: the best lie of an icon for this discussion
"All in all, I'd say you got off pretty easy."
no subject
"...maybe in your eyes." Caz draped an arm over his seat, glancing to make sure the movie was still being vapid, then continuing. "Ankh and I being 'buddies' is up there with...with..." Hold on, hold on- "...with Jesus Christ kicking orphans to death."

"If it isn't my new friend~" She sat down next to him, smirking.

"I was trying to find something to amuse me, since the movie is doing such a poor job." She lent against the armrest of her seat so she was closer to him. "Maybe you can do a better job?"
no subject
He glanced up at the movie, making an overdramatic look of disgust at it, before turning to her. People- especially humans -being that close was uncomfortable, but he let it slide. "Dunno~ Maybe I could, I guess that depends on you~?"
no subject
Diana smirked, relaxing into her seat. "Now that I think about it, I never did catch your name." She held out her hand expectantly. "Any preferred nicknames or embarrassing alias I should know about?"
no subject
Huh, names? "Cazali." Well, it was his name. He never completely understood masking that, nor did he think to ask for hers in kind. He eyed the hand with a little less comprehension, but took it eventually. "Hm, aaactually...I might have forgotten to tell you something, last time~ Curious?"
She wanted amusing? Maybe he could deliver.
no subject
"As curious as a masochist cat~" Diana replied, her smile now sly and cunning.
1/2 cos hes being overdramatic
2/2 stupid primadonna catboy
"You're rather a good guesser, or damn intuitive for a human~"
no subject
True, having him suddenly change infront of her was a bit surprising, but he wasn't suddenly a mutated coyote, or a tentacle-handed sadist, or a grotesque parastic alien controlling peoples minds. So, yeh, his appearance sparks more questions than it does fear or any other flight emotion.
She masked her surprise well though, covering it up with a look of interest.
"I know a sadist and trust me, I'm most certainly not one."
"Why thankyou~" She paused to look him over thougthfully. "But now I'm curious as to exactly what you are?"
no subject
Cazali stretched, bending his arms back over his seat. "Greeed. We feed on human desire..." He tilted his head towards her, giving her a look over. "Buuut, I've been a bit...sated with other things. For now, at least~"
no subject
"Fun name." But that... "How can you feed on desire?" That was a concept a bit abstract for her to grasp without a little help.
