Deep from the dank, dark bowels of the Media Library... IT CAME! FROM THE CELLULOID!

Five terrible movies guaranteed to give you CHILLS! THRILLS! Or maybe just, I dunno, a vague sense that the universe has wronged you somehow and you want several hours of your life back.

Today, anyone walking into this particular Sensorium would be greeted by the sight of a late 20th century darkened movie theatre, playing a quintuple-feature consisting of old Earth movies that were honestly not very good. At the bottom of the seating area was some dude giving out free popcorn, candy, and drinks.

Howard, Zouichi, Allenby, and Jr. were around, and anyone else was welcome to walk in and join in.

[each of the movies is listed below, just tag in wherever you want. I put a small link in each movie's post so you can have some idea of what the movie is about, although honestly I would say that the movies themselves often do not actually know what they are about. All threads are open unless labeled 'closed'.

"Hn. That man had no honor, no good bone in his body. Only greed." Hmph. "We were born from him, so we're no better, but~ Maybe when we find a timeloop or something, I'll go ask him, hm~?"

The entire discussion seemed to be going in weird directions, actually. Caz had never been so uncomfortable in his life- er, existence. "I...don't know." Ugh his head hurt. "I'm...supposed to be killing people, and making yummies, and all that. So I guess I'm the one doing something weird, then."

Free will? What that??????

Zouichi wondered if that was really true. Then again, it wasn't like he was particularly interested in Nialdi's good points. "A timeloop. Well, that would be... one more in a long line of things that shouldn't happen but do."

"...I see. But you're not. And I'm supposed to be saving what's left of humanity on my Earth, but it's been destroyed." So now he was on a meatship, talking to a catboy homunculus.

"Goodie. Now I have something to look forward to~" Timeline nonsense, joooy. Some part of him felt like there was something ironic about this, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

Caz flapped his mouth a few times- starting to talk, then cutting himself off -before making an agitated noise and just curling up in his chair. "Long story sort, everything goes back to normal once we beat those Ohm or whatever. Right." He wasn't about to go 'hey, I'm having a minor crisis over my meaning of existence, help?', that'd be too Ankh-y.

"That's... up for debate. Some people think everyone will be sent back to their original worlds. But if there exists a mechanism by which entire universes can be restored, I don't know of any. You may be out of luck if you want to return."

"I don't have any need to return. What do I have to go back to? A huge game of keep-away for medals that don't matter? Beh. I'd rather go back to being dead, if I could really have my choice."

Zouichi gave him a funny look. "Most people would rather be alive than dead. Even 'monsters'."

"I'm not 'alive', nor have I ever been. Trust me, they drill that in to a Greeed's head pretty quick." Most ineffective shrug ever. "I don't have any purpose, and once this ship nonsense is through, then what?"

Or, maybe the 'hey, I'm having a minor crisis over my meaning of existence' would just be painfully obvious.

"You seem pretty alive to me. Apparently you have a 'soul', if that matters."

He sighed. "I don't know. I can't really tell you what you should or shouldn't do with the rest of your time here, or elsewhere. If my world is restored, I have to go back. If not..."

"....If not, I guess I'll have to find something else to do. But it's not like you don't have time to think it over."

Alive? No, things with pulses and organs and the ability to reproduce were alive. The soul thing he'd let pass- though he did scoff -but Cazali was stubborn in his state of lacking life.

"I didn't expect you to, to be honest~ You're a straight-forward guy." For...better or worse, that was sort of a compliment. "But I appreciate that sort of thinking, actually~"

For what it's worth, Cazali, Zouichi would also consider AIs and robots to be alive... though probably not in the traditional sense of the word.

"Thanks. I prefer it to the alternative." Which was, apparently, hoarding all your secrets like they were going out of style. Zouichi couldn't understand why a group of people whose survival was so intricately linked together was constantly expending energy worrying about secret identities and forbidden pasts and what-have-you. He could play that game, but found it personally aggravating.

With that, Zouichi tried a handful of popcorn, turning his attention back to the movie screen.

"I never did either, until I had to~" A snort, and he relaxed again, trying to eat his own popcorn...but considering he wasn't swallowing, yeah that was sort of a wash. "I guess I'm a pretty showy guy at heart~"

Oh right the movie.

Oh right the movie was still boring as hell.
