"From this hour I ordain myself loos’d of limits and imaginary lines" (Part 1 - Briefing)

A large group of crew members was gathered. In fact, given the mission briefing provided, it was curious that there'd be such a large number for a diplomatic mission.

Planet Designation: Galilee
Status: Terrestrial, H-class.
Non-sentient life: Extensive flora and fauna.
Semi-Sentient Life: Yes.
Sentient Life: Homo Sapiens. [Various translations of "human" appear here so everyone understands it]
Water: 69.5% of the planet's surface.
Climate: Earth-like [Click here for cultural equivalents for non-Earth cultures.]
Landscape: Varied.
Air: Normoxic concentration. Slightly elevated levels of carbon dioxide.
Air Pressure: 101.3 kPa (kilopascals) = 14.7 psi (pounds per square inch)
Sky: Blue. Often overcast.
Sun: A class G2V, yellow star.
Warnings: Wildlife and plant-life can be hazardous. Humans can be hazardous. A human cultural and legal database is available. [click here]
Mission: Successfully negotiate with the Galileeans in exchange for their advanced medical technology.

It was very little to work with, so the crew gathered there possibly had a lot of questions.

Ildraniath had opted for armor for the mission, although her helmet was still tucked under one arm. Her usual sword and pistol were at her sides, but she had also brought along a rather impressive looking spear, that was almost twice as high as she was. She pored over the data they'd been presented with. Maybe more answers would be forthcoming.

Hopefully.

Going in blind had never struck her as a wise decision.

A spear taller than her? That means WAY more taller than Jr. He side-eyed it, wondering if something like that'd be worth using on whatever this mission was.

Ildraniath glanced up from her omnicomm, one brow arched as she gave the human a deadpan look. A... child? Yes. Child. This ship had a penchant for sending children on missions they weren't prepared for. How curious

"What is it?"

"Nothing! You just seem to be a little ... overprepared, is all."

He motioned first to the sword and the pistol more in passing, and then less so on the large spear.
