Mingling at the Bazaar
Next to the Mall Hotel, a large bazaar sprawled out through the streets. Food stalls, jewelery stalls, plastic surgery stalls...might want to stay away from that last one. But since the bizaar was close by, it served as a good place for the crew to meet up and start their exploration of XaXing.
[[ooc: This is just a general mingling post guys, so jump in and start threads, tag into other people's, whatever you want!]]

SHOP: WEAPONS
"What're ya buyin'?" he asked, in a strong Cockney accent.

Because you can never go wrong with more explosives.

He motioned toward the shelves of stockpiled weapons behind him. "Tell you what, you take a look-see for yerself. Unless you've got something particular in mind, o' course."
no subject
He walked over to him with a wave, craning his neck forward to get a better look at the weapons. "That depends. Tell me a little about what'cha got."

From his jacket, he produced a firearm with a long, slender barrel -- six shots maximum capacity, obviously not a modern weapon by any means. A .45 caliber single action revolver that look somewhere in between a Schofield Model 3 and a Colt SAA.
"Gun's not just about shootin'," he rasps, loading in three shots and snapping the chamber back into place. "It's about reloadin'. You know what I'm talkin' about, dontcha?"
no subject
"Everyone else from where I'm from is stuck on those new technologies when it comes to these things."
no subject
It's got a solid weight to it -- a lovely gun, silver metal with a polished wood handle, like something right out of the Wild West.
"Kicks like a mule. Now that's a real weapon, stranger."
no subject
Jr. took the gun, twisting his wrist and lifting it up to test the aim and weight. His eyes reflected that of a kid in a candy store. Which he could have passed for considering his physical age. But the way he handled and tested the gun short of firing it reeked of experience with firearms (if the twin pistols he had holstered behind him weren't enough indication).
"Sweet," he muttered as he lowered the gun finally. "It's nice! I'll definitely take this one."
Awwww :D
HE IS THE NERDIEST NERD.
pfff what is he gonna do, dual wield magnums
Re: SHOP: WEAPONS
"Just browsing for now," she admitted. "But I wouldn't mind something classic. Any suggestions?"
Re: SHOP: WEAPONS
Re: SHOP: WEAPONS
"Nice," she said, examining it. It would be good to find something that she could use in case she ran into an enemy that was immune to energy rounds. "But I'm more of a melee fighter. Got something for close-range?"
Re: SHOP: WEAPONS
He motioned to the shelves of weapons behind him. "Or if yer not sure, yer welcome to browse."
Re: SHOP: WEAPONS
The various weapons on the shelves were certainly something worth checking out. There was a katara (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katara_%28sword%29) that she lingered over for a moment before picking up a cinquedea (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinquedea). The weight felt good in her hands, though the hilt seemed a little weak for her grip. Still, something she could barter over.
"How much is this one?" she asked.

Re: SHOP: WEAPONS
"Hey, I've got the rifles, but some of the more delicate pieces ain't in such good condition anymore. You wouldn't happen to have a laser scope modular enough to attach to most mil-spec bodies, a silencer, a gunpowder scale, and a firearms repair kit in good condition?"
He at least hopes that demonstrating that he knows his way around firearms and the repair will suggest he knows what he's doing enough to not take shoddy goods. Street dealers aren't always the most reliable, after all.
Re: SHOP: WEAPONS
"You want the rest, you'll have to find yerself another store, mate. Weapons and accessories only."

He's picked a enchanted flaming chainsaw
Re: He's picked a enchanted flaming chainsaw
He puts a hand up to his... um, kerchief, whispering conspiratorially to Cowabunga, "And just between you and me, stranger, no one around here really knows how to appreciate a good enchanted chainsaw. But if you're interested--"
Re: He's picked a enchanted flaming chainsaw
"How much would trading in my axe take off the bill?" He asked, preparing to unstrap said weapon.
Re: He's picked a enchanted flaming chainsaw
He punched out a rather reasonable price on his pad and handed it to Cowabunga. "Whattaya say?"

"What exactly do you have?" he asked the man.
no subject
He motioned toward a nearby display case, in which was mounted an impressive array of melee weapons: katana, kunai, jitte, the odd naginata, tonfa... you name it, it was there.
no subject
"I like that katana," he told the merchant, "do you have a bow and arrow set of some type as well?"
Well why not? He needed to practice on that just in case something made it so that he was not able to summon even the shinkenmaru. He needed to be ready for anything at all.
Uhhh, I'm going to assume he wants a kyuudo bow
"Got more modern ones over on the other side, stranger." Compound bows and the like, of course.
Aaaactually, think more compound ^_^ for reason, see Water Arrow
