Meat n' Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a tall man in green armor and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

Mami had a hard time hiding her surprise as she watched the older girl float down next to her. She may have been able to do some pretty crazy things as a Puella Magi, but flight? That was a new one.

Thankfully for her, though, the only thing that gave her shock away was a raise of the eyebrows. "I am. It's all very strange, I admit... but I think I'm coping well."

Lies. Complete and utter lies.

There was a bit of a knowing look on Nanoha's face as she arched an auburn eyebrow. "It's okay not to be, you know. It's a big shock. So don't worry about putting on a face you don't feel."

Oh, Nanoha, if you only knew. It was hard for Mami to remember a time where she wasn't wearing some kind of mask. There was no way she was going to let it all out to some stranger she just met. But she could play along for a while.

"I'm... a little overwhelmed, to be honest."

Even if Nanoha knew, it wouldn't stop her. She'd had a lot of experience dealing with masks.

"We all are when we wake up," she assured her. "I'm Nanoha, by the way. Takamachi Nanoha - what's your name?"

"Mami Tomoe," She said, leaning forward in a small, polite bow. "It's nice to meet you, Takamachi-san."

She gave a little wave. "Oh, there's no need to be so formal. Just 'Nanoha' is fine. It's very nice to meet you too, Mami-chan!"
