Nura crossed one leg over the other beneath the water, letting out a content sigh. "I've been working on the Calnus, as well. Mostly checking the engine and making sure the controls are in working order. But I've also been spending some quality time with Ben, and..." she then made a mischievous smile. "...some special time with Querl."

"I've found that swimming is actually one of the easiest ways to work out besides walking all over the City," Katara said. "Obviously you can't walk it now, but swimming we can at least do here: I'd only thought out hotel was the only other place."

Katara laughed, clapping her hands. "I had no idea he was on board, Nura! No wonder you seem so happy! Of course I'm happy you're watching over Ben, but your husband is on board, that's great! I've just been training, meditating, you know...and when I have the time, I do actually visit my boyfriend too."

She smiled a little secretly here. She didn't think she'd told Nura about him yet.

Reimi chuckled at that. "It's gotten to the point that I moved out. I mean, I like staying with Nura but y'know, I can't sleep through that."

She was blushing a little. "At least you two lock the door."

"And swimming is awesome. I never really got to do it at home. The amount of pools are limited in our underground cities."

"Oh gods, did you hear us?" While Querl would be mortified, Nura found it humorous. "I feel bad, though." She made a slightly serious look. "I know the Calnus has comfortable quarters, but it's pretty tight spaced and not exactly healthy to be alone in there a lot of the time."

She thought for a moment. "Same here. The pools were mostly used for exercise in the training regime instead of for relaxation."

Oh. So she guessed now wasn't the time for her own girl talk? Well, she could see that: after all, they WERE sort of living together for a little while. It made sense. She sort of wished she knew more about this Calnus place now.

"The pools in the outsider's plaza were more built for recreation I think," Katara tried to supply helpfully. "The place used to be a hotel, so I think that was what guests who were in those rooms would use them for. They took awhile to clean, but they're up and running now!"

Lame, she knew, but at least it helped the conversation, right?

"That would be nice to come and visit then," said Reimi, helpfully steering the conversation towards Katara. "I'd love to come and see the pool there."

"So how about you Katara? Have you met a nice boy yet?" She politely refrained from assuming that the girl might have a girlfriend. One could never know.

"Katara is now seeing the handsome Matt, right?" She turned a coy look to Katara. "Gorgeous, lanky thin, and rock star body and looks and all, right?" She nudged Katara playfully. "So you two are now official?"

"Oh, we'd love to have you of course!" Katara said, brightening a little. "We're still trying to get everybody together, the Outsiders have been shuffled around a lot, but with a little luck, we can get a permanent status. In the meantime, we've never turned guests away either."

She did duck her a little here, but looked pleased with herself. "Well, he is sort of a rock star to begin with, but yes, we're official. We've sort of just talked and laughed with each other, and I lived on the W.I.T.C.H. bus look to look after Negi a little bit. After awhile we just clicked."

She reddened, happy to at least talk about one of the happiest things going on for her despite how strained they made things with her and her brother.

"Really? You must be really happy about that," gushed Reimi as she leaned over. "I heard he's cute. So he does music? What kind of songs? Does he create his own?"

"What do you do about dates? Do you use the sensoriums as well?"

Nura settled a little more into the water, closing her eyes as she relaxed. She let Katara take the spotlight gladly, soaking up the warm water of the bath in quite peace.

"I am," Katara said, managing a smile. "He's definitely cute: like Nura said, he has long hair, a really gentle smile, and is fairly lanky. He knows magic too, but I'm still a little unsure about how much. But yes, he does write his own music, he has a guitar and everything. He's actually even written a few songs about me, though it could just be me having a swelled head."

It wasn't, but she wasn't trying to brag to someone she'd just met.

She nodded. "Well, we sort of have to-the ship can be a pretty hazardous place to have a date. We've had a nice ballroom dance since he missed that last one-for some reason there was singing table wear and pots and things, but it was wonderful. We also had a few picnics and things like that. It's actually been one of the best times I've had on the ship, when we're together."

Reimi giggled. "He sounds very sweet! I'm glad you're so happy with him and all. I never really had a boyfriend myself. Edge and Crowe treated me like a little kid since I was the youngest of us three."

"Is he a good kisser?" asked Reimi slyly.

She laughed. "Well, I've only had one boyfriend before Matt, honestly, but that was different. He and I...well, we're destiny, but the ship apparently can't ever seem to keep him on the ship before podding him again. Before that we were good friends, just like me and Matt! I think any good relationship takes a lot of time though, and definitely a lot of care and trust. I guess I can admire anyone who just goes on dates, but for me it was never that easy."

Talking about Aang did make her feel more than a little sad though, and was glad she was distracted.

"Oh, you better believe it," she said. "He's slow, and he wraps his arms around me, and I just feel like time stops. It's..."

Nura's eyes opened and looked at Katara. "Are you all right?" She started to sound a little more than tired at the moment.

Reimi leaned over since she was closer, reaching out to touch Katara's shoulder. "Are you overheated?"

She too was feeling a little more tired than usual, her eyes closing a bit.

Katara brought her hand to her head, shaking it a little. Where did that come from anyway? She felt a little strange, like something in the air had happened,

"Um, I don't think so," she said, taking a breath. "I mean, it is a little hotter here, but its water, and I don't think That would power me down."

She shook her head. "Maybe it was fighting that spirit possessing thing earlier. Are you guys all right?"

"I'll be fine," said Reimi, trying to shake off the fatigue. "I know that getting overheated isn't a good thing though. Maybe we need to get out and cool off in the cooler pool?"

Nura yawned. She was starting to feel very drowsy...

"You guys go ahead. I think I'll just soak some more in here." She waved her hand, eyelids starting to droop. Oh dear.

Katara was definitely a little unsettled by this. They were all fine a moment ago, why were they suddenly all tired? Was there something in the water or something? If that were the case, she hoped that Nura would be ok. Of course, she also didn't mind talking with Reimi either: she hadn't had a chance to talk to the girl before, and it had been a conversation of girl proportion that she hadn't had in a long, long time.

"If you're sure you're ok there Nura," Katara said, and climbed out with Reimi to relax in the cooler pools, stepping in and playfully making bubbles all over Reimi with a circular motion of her hands.

Reimi nodded as she climbed out after her and dipped her foot into the cool pool. She looked at her towel however and blushed a little. "Excuse my stripping but I hate getting into the hot pool again after cooling off with a damp towel."

Pulling it off, she folded it up and sunk down into the water, covering herself. "Now it kind of feels like a Japanese bath," she said, blushing a bit. "Back home before the war, there were public baths like this where mixed bathing would be even withotu a towel."

Still feeling a little out of it, Reimi nodded as she stepped into the water and yelped a little at the lukewarm water. "Eeeww cold towel!"

Her momentary fatigue forgotten, Reimi pulled it off and folded up the soaked towel. "God I hate that sensation," she muttered, setting it to the side and delicately covering herself under the water.

Katara nodded, taking the towel and draping the water out of the towel before rewrapping the towel around her. Luckily, she was able to avoid that feeling.

"Before I could bend, I know exactly what you mean: its not the best feeling, especially if where you're from is home to cold water all the time anyway!"

Speaking of though. "Where ARE you from, Reimi? Are you also from that place called Earth?"

"It's terrible," said Reimi, shivering a little as she let the water cool her off.

"Yes I'm from Earth, or that is to say a simulation of one. It's kind of complex but basically I'm from Earth after World War III happened. It was a war that lasted for 15 days, and drove our people underground to survive the radiation."

Reimi rubbed her leg in memory, as if she could feel the petrification virus she picked up on Roak. "We then reached for the stars, to colonize the worlds beyond. And find a place for humanity to live in."

Katara had not been prepared to hear that, to be honest. She moved a whirlpool around them, just to make things a little more comfortable.

"That's awful," she said. "I have to admit, I still sort of wondering why people do that to each other, fighting and being violent all the time. The only reason that hasn't happened in my world is because they didn't have the ability to, but it wasn't for lack of trying. It was lucky Aang was able to stop them."

They could travel the stars? That was something she was still wrapping her head around. "Did you find a place?"

"It was so sudden, an open exchange of weapons of mass destruction that left our planet barren. It will take a long time to restore." Reimi sighed a little.

She nodded. "There are a few worlds that we would love to join with, and we're opening talks with the rest of the races we've met."
