The Answer is 42 [open]

Reimi sunk into the water of the Co-Ed side, making sure that her towel was fastened securely before she let herself relax. It had been a long day and the Calnus was up and running. And yet she heard there was some kind of Darksoul slipping around but so far, she hadn't run into anyone who was acting out of the ordinary.

Sinking to the water, she poked a bubble that was forming from the jets and let herself relax a little more, the day's aches from working on the Calnus finally ebbing away.

At least it was nice and quiet there right now.

"Hey, we could definitely help you out with that," Katara said, grinning. "Of course, it really depends on the guy what kind of flirting you do. You can be a seductive flirt, or a coy one, depending. There's a lot of degrees of variation there."

Though she was more likely to be coy: Katara's boys were usually the sweet or dangerous type. Sometimes you just had to wing it.

"I'm sure it is, because everyone's a little different. But I'm sure we can both help you!"

Heck, she'd even hunt down Nanoha for tips about girls: she had a feeling Fate would just spazz out of she asked.

Nura nodded her head. This was getting and the getting was good. "Of course we will! It's really fun once you let loose a little - but not too loose - and meet all different kinds of people. But of course...you might meet Mr. or Ms. Right in a rather unconventional or unusual way..."

She folded her arms. "Just be sure to have fun, and if the guy is a total tool...stomp his foot."

Katara felt a little awkward. "I don't mean CHANGE, like, who you are. But you should always wait and see what kind of person they are: people usually aren't themselves completely on a first date, but the longer you're with someone, the more comfortable you are. You always start being yourself with reservations: the longer you're hanging out, you'll be more of yourself, and you'll see if they're fine with that."

She nodded. "I don't see why not. When you;re with them, you;'ll know. Trust your instincts."

"However cliche the saying is, you want to be accepted for who you are. If the person you're seeing doesn't see that, and wants you to change...they're not worth the trouble and the tears."

She patted Katara on the shoulder in agreement. "Katara's right. Your instincts are very important."

Katara looked a little confused. "Well, you don't go looking for a date, Reimi. I mean, you can get set up, we can totally try that, but dates come out of mutual agreement. The best thing I would say for this is just putting yourself out there. I mean, look at what you do: you're intelligent, dedicated and have a secret romantic side to you. So I figure the person that likes you will be someone who learns that about you, sees what you're doing and is interested."

What did she mean, the Dragon?

"Make some friends. Who knows. It could turn into more." Nura looked to Katara, nodding her head.

She blinked at the title "Dragon", wondering what Reimi meant...before she realized what she was talking about. "Oh. The Drunken Dragon would be the last place you want to have a date in. Surrounded by alcohol and drunk nimrods..." She rolled her eyes. "Just says: Bad News."

Katara nodded. "I really can't blame you: when you're on this ship, no one expects that dating is going to be something you can just jump into, you know? You have to be around people, get to know them, and after awhile, you start to realize they mean a lot more to you."

She thought of Matt here. "No, that place wouldn't be the best place. I'd say try places like the bath house, or even just around the ship. It may take time, but i know you'll find someone."
