Mission 01 -- Recovery : Planetside: Split up and Fan Out
The door opens to a lush green place. They've landed in a forest glade of some kind. Deciduous in nature, but the leaves are somewhat odd in shape and very, very thick and tall. The grass is a green that's almost a blue.
The sky is blue like a normal sky, but brighter, more vibrant than on Earth. Two moons hang there, so close that they're visible even in the daytime.
The air is fresh and clean-smelling, like after a rain--in fact, the moisture in the air means it may have rained here recently. There's even a cool, light breeze.
Curiously, when they come down the ramp, they'll see that the pod--its umbilical cord spiraling up miles upon miles to meet the ship, floating visibly in the atmosphere--is floating about six inches off the ground.

"You never take me anywhere nice anymore," he comments before stepping away.

Right then, she staggers, nearly tripping over the end of the ramp, holding a hand to her head, her eyes suddenly clouding over with a glossy white. She just...stands there, hand held loosely at her temple, staring at nothing.

Allen has also moved towards Leela, and while he isn't as much good as a support beam (brains over brawn, baby!), Irene would kick his ass if he let a teenage version of her best friend get a concussion on an alien planet 'cause a vision made her fall over and he didn't step in to cushion the fall.
"She'll come out of it soon. Give her a minute."

Unfortunately, he's going to need to morph to use the communicator. He doesn't need it to talk, but he'll need it to hear the others, as they have no natural thought-speech. He chooses hork-bajir again, deciding that it will be most at home in the wooded area. He flies off a bit, does his morph, then comes back to get the communicator. < No one panic, it's just me. The bird boy. I can move around down here easier in the shape I used during the battle. > he tells them in thought-speech. < Mostly becuase although I don't need this thing to talk to you, nobody can talk back to me without it, and there's no way I can carry it in my real form. >

<AH HA HA HA HA CAN WE DO ZHAT AGAIN?!> Oops, you're transmitting, Blitzwing. The triplechanger facepalms and tries the comm-ring again.
<Ahem. This is vorking, correct?>
The triplechanger looks around at the scenery for a minute, considers the open space, and then with a mechanical ch-ch-chh transforms into a plane and starts doing loops in the air in what is probably happiness of some sort.

Slowly, he emerges and takes a double take, looking around, before releasing his condor, Laserbeak to scope the environment from above. It squawked loudly, surveying the scenery.

<And... he's not just any robotic bird.> Soundwave hinted.

"Hope she can come out of soon, how's she doing?" Thought she heard some rustling, but it could be just the wind.

Staggering again.
"Oh. Hey. Damn. That was a long one."

He moved up beside her when she came out, though he didn't touch. He'd spent enough time around Omen and Raven to know better. "You okay there?" he asked.

"Cap'n, uh, there's gotta be a few very subtle...tweaks to the teams you send out or bad shit's gonna go down."

She points it out on the scanners Stacy provided.
"Elle has to be on the team that goes for this one."
She points out another ship.
"And Worf needs to lead the team that goes for this ship, and Leon needs to be on that team."
She points out one more.
"And much as I would rather not be," is snarled off to the side. She turns back, and rolls her eyes slightly. "I gotta be on the same team as Cale."
A shrug. "None of the rest matters. Whatever you choose. Those matter the most. That's just how it is. It's vague, but...that just seems right."

"If the Captain concurs?" he looks to Picard for a sign of confirmation, "Though could you decipher exactly why these people are required at those objectives? Perhaps it pertains to whatever is inside the escape craft?"
Though Stacy had claimed there were no life-signs... He goes back to his tricorder, scanning a wider berth of the planet.

"Can I go with Chief?"

One of the scanners vanished and there was a subtle shake of a bush near the group, but nothing too note worthy. Low key was low key and he could still listen to them from here.
Certain people with certain teams. THAT sounded bad. Now, the question was, should he back up his brother or go with another team where something bad was probably gonna happen?

Even with her team 'restrictions' in place slotting people into the teams and making up a solid roster for each group shouldn't present any particular problems. He really didn't like the stress Leela put on the NEED for a medic in every group though. Common sense was common sense but 'it's for sure' usually meant 'you're going to have to put stitches in someone'.
"Sounds like a party, but with injuries." He sighed, and began double-checking the roster of supplies Bones had handed him amid piling off the ship. Best to memorize where everything was in the kit so he could get to it blindfolded if he had to.
