Meet N' Greet!
It's big meeting time! Word of mouth gets everyone gathered in the Obs Deck--everyone. New, old, the entire crew is there and that makes it clear that there's close to a hundred of them, if not more.
When they've all arrived, a blue bubble pops up around them, courtesy of Blue Beetle, to block them all from Stacy's sensors. Most of the new people were given the basic rundown by Cybil or Chief when they were first released. Some of them have already joined a discussion with a the Commanding Officers and department heads. Some have had a chance to explore a bit. Some were only just recently released.

Re: Soooo, this obviously means the command stuff is the LAST thing discussed...
He shakes his head. "When I told you about my future that I heard about from people from my world, about the fact that I might--" He swallows. "--that I might probably die? You suggested cloning me and mindwiping the clone to implant my consciousness in it, which is like... um, kinda awful, if you want to get all ethical about it. You may trust me, and I'm glad, because you can. You can trust a lot of us."
Superboy crosses his arms.
"But with all the fuss you're kicking up about people making pretty reasonable mistakes, when you suggested that? I sure as hell don't trust you."
Re: Soooo, this obviously means the command stuff is the LAST thing discussed...
"BB, let anyone else out who wants out. They can express any concerns to myself and anyone else in charge later."
Re: Soooo, this obviously means the command stuff is the LAST thing discussed...
Anyone who doesn't want to just talk...civil-like, and stay focused, get your butts out of his bubble.
Re: Soooo, this obviously means the command stuff is the LAST thing discussed...
"I would not call the fact that a number of those here with exceptional powers seem to be rather careless with them anything less than a serious concern. People could die! because of some idiot's overreaction to an insult or a prank or mistaken identity, for Christ's sake!"
By now he's pacing and punctuating his words with broad gestures.
"To ignore that is only begging for trouble. Now, that isn't to say that the only alternative is some kind of imprisonment—" —he gestures vaguely in Lyta's direction, even if she's leaving— "—but something should be done, unless you would like to personally police every superhuman on this ship, Kal-El, and events as have already passed have shown that even your prodigious judgement is not infallible."
"And—girl!" He points sharply in Cassie's direction, nearly invading her personal space. "If you're going to solve personal disputes with violence, at least do it where no one else can interrupt."
...was that last part meant to be a joke? It may well have been, to judge by the little quirk in his expression...

It was like the guy wanted to get punched.
"I'm sorry, O.K.? Stop trying to piss me off."
Re: Soooo, this obviously means the command stuff is the LAST thing discussed...
"I believe our current subject was Captains Picard and Kirk. Perhaps we can return to it and discuss these other matters in the near future and at a more convenient time?"
Re: Soooo, this obviously means the command stuff is the LAST thing discussed...
Re: Soooo, this obviously means the command stuff is the LAST thing discussed...
"Hey, careful with that guy. It'll be ok."
She then added, "I liked Cybil as our leader. I'm all right if Picard takes command. Got a good head on his shoulders." Small smirk at that.
Re: Soooo, this obviously means the command stuff is the LAST thing discussed...
He rubs at the back of his head and shrugs, "M'willin' to do whatever."
Re: Soooo, this obviously means the command stuff is the LAST thing discussed...
Her gaze slides over in Plays' direction.
Re: Soooo, this obviously means the command stuff is the LAST thing discussed...
"But can we please hurry this up? Jaime's tired and it's not exactly easy for me to standing here either." As if exemplifying his point, people would notice that the younger Winchester is not exactly steady on his feet and that it is taking a great deal of effort on his part to maintain his balance and keep from falling over.
He could sit down, perhaps, but given the propensity for violence in this particular meeting, who could blame him for not wanting to be stationary.
Re: Soooo, this obviously means the command stuff is the LAST thing discussed...
Kon just kinda...pokes Sam's arm and then it's like all the weight of standing's been lifted up, as his TTK helps brace him some so it's easier to stand.
"I can't do this forever either, but at least you won't flop over."
Re: Soooo, this obviously means the command stuff is the LAST thing discussed...
But then Kon does that... poking thing, and Dean blinks. Then he looks at Kon, and shoots him a grateful look.
"Y'alright, Sam?"

She paused and looked over at the younger superheroes. "Since everyone is so worried about you..." she looked at Kate, "We could all train together, maybe focus your energies."

Some Damn Votes
"Okay, let's move this thing along," Jaime says, sealing those out that have chose to leave.
"Who thinks we should even have a leader? Raise your hand, paw, or other appendange, and say 'Aye.'"
He takes it all in and sure enough, it's well over majority, even though there are a few who don't.
"Majority has it. We've decided on a system with a leader formally now."
"Okay, now who thinks as long as we get to choose this leader, that they have the right to appoint staff where they think they'd work best, and to promote and demote people based on merit or complaints or whatever?"
This was a touch closer, but...
"Majority still has it."
Now.
"Okay, Picard as captain."
Again.
"Again, two-thirds majority has it. And if we voted that the leader has a right to choose their commanders, he can choose Kirk, but he knows to take into account that people are not quite cool with two people they don't know in charge."
A deep breath.
"Now move on to the other subjects please. This tingles and not in a pleasant way."
