Meet N' Greet!

It's big meeting time! Word of mouth gets everyone gathered in the Obs Deck--everyone. New, old, the entire crew is there and that makes it clear that there's close to a hundred of them, if not more.

When they've all arrived, a blue bubble pops up around them, courtesy of Blue Beetle, to block them all from Stacy's sensors. Most of the new people were given the basic rundown by Cybil or Chief when they were first released. Some of them have already joined a discussion with a the Commanding Officers and department heads. Some have had a chance to explore a bit. Some were only just recently released.

[ooc: READ THIS BEFORE TAGGING.]

"I honestly don't care either way...."

She paused and looked over at the younger superheroes. "Since everyone is so worried about you..." she looked at Kate, "We could all train together, maybe focus your energies."

Kirk nods at Picard, "Sounds like a plan. Let's get this vote wrapped up and then let everyone get some rest. I suppose it'll be up to us to iron out some of the details. Regardless, I'd like to thank all of your for your time and patience."

Some Damn Votes

"Okay, let's move this thing along," Jaime says, sealing those out that have chose to leave.

"Who thinks we should even have a leader? Raise your hand, paw, or other appendange, and say 'Aye.'"

He takes it all in and sure enough, it's well over majority, even though there are a few who don't.

"Majority has it. We've decided on a system with a leader formally now."

"Okay, now who thinks as long as we get to choose this leader, that they have the right to appoint staff where they think they'd work best, and to promote and demote people based on merit or complaints or whatever?"

This was a touch closer, but...

"Majority still has it."

Now.

"Okay, Picard as captain."

Again.

"Again, two-thirds majority has it. And if we voted that the leader has a right to choose their commanders, he can choose Kirk, but he knows to take into account that people are not quite cool with two people they don't know in charge."

A deep breath.

"Now move on to the other subjects please. This tingles and not in a pleasant way."
