Meet N' Greet!

It's big meeting time! Word of mouth gets everyone gathered in the Obs Deck--everyone. New, old, the entire crew is there and that makes it clear that there's close to a hundred of them, if not more.

When they've all arrived, a blue bubble pops up around them, courtesy of Blue Beetle, to block them all from Stacy's sensors. Most of the new people were given the basic rundown by Cybil or Chief when they were first released. Some of them have already joined a discussion with a the Commanding Officers and department heads. Some have had a chance to explore a bit. Some were only just recently released.

[ooc: READ THIS BEFORE TAGGING.]

"Uh. I vote for Picard, I guess. And, uh, not to take away from th' whole agenda, but I figure I might as well let y'know so you don't have to find out later... m'a werewolf like Wags an' Leaf-Ear an' so on. Plays-in-Traffic, Cliath Philodox of the Bone Gnawer Tribe. But y'can still call me Tony. Answer to either, really."

He rubs at the back of his head and shrugs, "M'willin' to do whatever."

"I don't know anything about either..."

Her gaze slides over in Plays' direction.

"I'm good with Cybil or Picard," Sam replies.

"But can we please hurry this up? Jaime's tired and it's not exactly easy for me to standing here either." As if exemplifying his point, people would notice that the younger Winchester is not exactly steady on his feet and that it is taking a great deal of effort on his part to maintain his balance and keep from falling over.

He could sit down, perhaps, but given the propensity for violence in this particular meeting, who could blame him for not wanting to be stationary.

"Hey, don't freak out or nothing, but--"

Kon just kinda...pokes Sam's arm and then it's like all the weight of standing's been lifted up, as his TTK helps brace him some so it's easier to stand.

"I can't do this forever either, but at least you won't flop over."

"I don't care either. Whoever is best for the job has my vote," Dean says loudly, keeping very close to Sam and ready to catch his brother if need be. The elder Winchester is looking more and more irritated by the second, and slightly stressed.

But then Kon does that... poking thing, and Dean blinks. Then he looks at Kon, and shoots him a grateful look.

"Y'alright, Sam?"

"Yes, perhaps we should finish this vote quickly and give Mister Reyes time to rest. Something tells me we'll need his talents more in the time to come."

"I honestly don't care either way...."

She paused and looked over at the younger superheroes. "Since everyone is so worried about you..." she looked at Kate, "We could all train together, maybe focus your energies."

Kirk nods at Picard, "Sounds like a plan. Let's get this vote wrapped up and then let everyone get some rest. I suppose it'll be up to us to iron out some of the details. Regardless, I'd like to thank all of your for your time and patience."

Some Damn Votes

"Okay, let's move this thing along," Jaime says, sealing those out that have chose to leave.

"Who thinks we should even have a leader? Raise your hand, paw, or other appendange, and say 'Aye.'"

He takes it all in and sure enough, it's well over majority, even though there are a few who don't.

"Majority has it. We've decided on a system with a leader formally now."

"Okay, now who thinks as long as we get to choose this leader, that they have the right to appoint staff where they think they'd work best, and to promote and demote people based on merit or complaints or whatever?"

This was a touch closer, but...

"Majority still has it."

Now.

"Okay, Picard as captain."

Again.

"Again, two-thirds majority has it. And if we voted that the leader has a right to choose their commanders, he can choose Kirk, but he knows to take into account that people are not quite cool with two people they don't know in charge."

A deep breath.

"Now move on to the other subjects please. This tingles and not in a pleasant way."
