It's time for all the newbies to get a chance to have a formal meeting with the crew. Given the confusion of their arrival, that's probably a good thing.

Word gets out among the crew mates, spreading in a game of whisper down the meat-alley, that an informal crew meeting is what's happening, free from Stacy's prying ears, and sure enough, as soon as everyone's in the room, they're gestured to move in close, and a wall of blue energy goes up around them all.

"My best friend's a super hero," Paco said, jerking his thumb in Jaime's direction. Jaime was suited up and providing their little privacy bubble, so further explanation was unnecessary. "Running away isn't always an option. Driving away, yes. Sometimes. Sorta." He made a face. "Not really."

"The Doctor seems to have this issue with running towards big evil aliens." Fitz feels his pain.

Pain? Oh man, if Fitz is looking for sympathy on that front, he's talking to the wrong kid.

"I know that feeling," Paco said. "This is my first space adventure, usually the aliens come to us. I missed the one where Brenda got to blow up a planet. Not fair at all, she got alien squirrels and huge funny-talking guys in loincloths, I got tentacles, giant roaches, and brainslugs."

"But they're all dead now, so you don't need to worry about them."
