It's time for all the newbies to get a chance to have a formal meeting with the crew. Given the confusion of their arrival, that's probably a good thing.

Word gets out among the crew mates, spreading in a game of whisper down the meat-alley, that an informal crew meeting is what's happening, free from Stacy's prying ears, and sure enough, as soon as everyone's in the room, they're gestured to move in close, and a wall of blue energy goes up around them all.

"I'm Brenda." She rubs at the back of her neck. "I don't have powers or anything exactly but I'm getting pretty good at beating the crap out of invading aliens that try to enslave the human race and by proxy to that I'm very good at beating up my fellow humans that warrant it."

She gives her best friends a LOOK. "You might have heard Jaime or Paco refer to me as 'that redhead that's always punching us'. Please, if you would, don't believe anything else they might have told you about me."

Never really having talked or even met to Jamie or Paco (save for that one time they fangasmed in her presence), Samus hadn't heard anything about Brenda. She kept to herself and avoided dealing with others, but even she realized it was always good to have new shipmates that could hold their own in a fight. Oh, and beating up aliens? That sounded familiar, probably because Samus has spent most of her life doing just that. If Samus was the sociable type, this would be the time where she would smile, introduce herself, shake hands, etc.

But she's not.

So she just gives a nod to Brenda, acknowledging her existence.
