The Battle That Ended The Century
People say that war is hell. This looked it.
Buildings and cars and bodies are scattered like broken toys as far as the eye can see, stretching out toward a dirty horizon. Even the clouds seems streaked with mud and blood, and they're taking it out on everyone below with a constant stream of cold, soaking rain.
The sounds of fighting seem to come from all directions, but at this moment, there's no one else in sight.
A breather. The calm before the storm.
[[OOC: This is for everyone who was involved with "The Lurking Fear". Questions go to Milo or Kaylin.]]

Instead, he slowly pulls himself into an upright position - careful not to be seen above the top of the trench. He's quiet about it, but in an unguarded moment, the pain the motion costs him is reflected in his eyes.
The flash of color on Renne doesn't mean anything to him, however, so he doesn't know that the wee blue beastie is wary of his arrival. Now that he's in a more-or-less comfortable position, he's more concerned with what's going on with the battle.
"Have ye seen a lot of movement from the enemy here?" Jamie hopes not. He'd dearly love to rest for a moment.

The other man asks about what they might have seen. "Not much movement, negative." He's slipping back into his army mentality more and more. "I'm hearing them a lot more than I'm seeing anything."

He carefully peers over the top of the trench, just to make sure. It's true - there's not much in the way of movement right now, although he can hear the roars of the T-Rex and weapons fire off in the distance.
Ducking back down, he says, "I'm not sure just how big the battlefield is but since there's more of us now, we could scout about and see if we can find where it ends."

He doesn't say much, just offers the three gents a chirp. Already Renne's ears flick forward.
He's been in wars before. The strange, eerie, crazy and utterly somehow wonderful thing is that this time he isn't alone. It still shakes Renne to the core, that.
Still, down to business.
A few deep breaths later, his skin darkens. Beyond that of night sky and without much of a shine. Such an appearance lends to a perhaps creepy semi-transparency as he crawls over the ground.
He's good at not being heard.
Now might be a time to try and go forward without being seen.

If anything of their emotions can be transferred at this distance, Bee will be transmitting worry for Renne's safety. Looking back at the ditch, he gives Jamie and Booth a questioning look---do they want to go the other way?
