A Slight Misunderstanding

When they blast down the door to the Medical Wing--and they'll have to, to get in--the group of newly podpopped crew-mates will bear witness to an interesting sight. Several individuals are strapped to med-beds, restrained by insect-looking legs pinning them down. One of those individuals has a cape and domino mask that may be familiar to one of the new crew-members--even if he's older than that crew member last remembers. Medical scans and monitors blip away. There are test tubes and other medical equipment around, including a flask with some sort of nasty gray slug curled at the bottom.

A few individuals are standing around, standing guard, including a girl with a bow and arrows. In the back of the Medical Wing is a woman with a scared-looking little girl.

Sitting on a stool, leaning over a shaggy-haired young man (who appears to have suffered a horrible head wound), is that green-skinned, blonde-haired individual shown by the AIs earlier. Some freaky looking goggles are over his eyes, and a strange and sinister-looking surgical glove, attached to an apparatus on the ceiling and full of rotating micro-lasers and mini-scalpels among other things, is on his hand.

It is, unfortunately, not an image that lends itself to easy interpretation.

River is about done with all this shouting and flailing about. But since no one's tearing into each other at this very moment, at least it's not looking as if it will be necessary to shoot anyone. At the moment.

She stalks forward, shooting a half-hearted glare at Sawyer. "You," she says, "can stop that now, or I will knock you out. This blaster has a concussion pistol setting." She swings away from him and back to the rest of them. "Someone in the room must have medical training, and if so, can they see to the injured parties while the rest of us refrain from beating them? And as for you..."

Here, she turns to the woman who'd claimed to be a psychic earlier. "I don't know how strong a psychic you are, but if you could, would you mind telling us exactly what's going on here?"

Dean is full on freaking out, in his typical Winchester way. Sam has a hole in his head, and nobody is paying attention. So first, Dean tries shaking Sam, gently of course, muttering to himself. But Sam doesn't wake up, so Dean gets a bit rougher. He knows it's probably not a good idea, but he's not thinking straight.

"Dammit, Sam, wake up. Sam. Sam!" Dean says angrily, "Sammy, wake up."

He looks back, and that girl from earlier, River, is talking. When she goes quiet, Dean takes advantage of the silence.

"Somebody help. Someone fix him!" Dean says loudly, and he's thisclose to pulling out his gun and threatening people into fixing Sam, because he sure as hell doesn't know how to treat head wounds.

Sawyer glares at the bossy British chick.

"Ya know my country fought a war just so we didn't have to listen to you anymore," he grumbled defiantly.

He then looked down at Connor and patted him on the leg. "Sorry, bucko, guess ya get to sit tight for now."

Yeah, he is soooo defiant!

Murphy had been mostly lying quietly, glaring and watching everything, but the moment Sawyer laid hand on Connor, he spoke up at a shout. "Oi, #*&@%head! Don't ye %&*#ing touch my #%&$in' brother! Either help us or #%@* off!"
