It took a short time before Cassie could gather enough comprehensible thoughts after exiting the maze for her to start wondering just how long she spent in the maze.  She wasn’t exactly sure where she was so she looked around before hiding and morphing to her wolf.  She knew what flying in hallways would do and it wasn’t that easy.  Besides, as a wolf she was able to smell much better and soon found a trail fresh enough to follow.

She ran down the hall and while she had seen much of the same after being in the maze, it was a sense of freedom to be a wolf.  It was one of her most common used morphs and the fact that she used it now to find her way back instead of fight was a liberty she enjoyed.

However as she found herself closer to a more commonly used hallway, she found a place to morph back and follow in the direction where the multiple smells had seemed to come from.  Soon she found the surroundings familiar.
Marco kept a close eye on Eva has he herded her into the Science Department. Kang had told him that they had a device which could scan for Yeerks - soon, he'd know for sure whether his mother was free.

He tried not to think too much on what would happen if it turned out that she wasn't.

Marco also wasn't happy about having to ask some random science geek to scan his mother, but he had to admit that he'd probably have no idea how to work the device himself anyway, so he resigned himself to looking around for someone to ask.

Wandering the halls was someone who hadn't been around for a little while.

Cargn silently walked through the halls of Stacy, typing intently on a datapad. Nearby floated his grim looking little helper, carrying several other datapads for him.

"The third one, Sigmund," he says somewhat absent-mindedly while holding his datapad up to the little drone.

++That is not this Unit's registered designation, Master,++ it replied, taking the datapad while switching it for another one. ++This Unit's designation is Unit XXVI. You are aware of this.++

"Yet you still respond when I use it anyway, Sigmund," Cargn says with a chuckle as he began typing again. "It might as well be your name."

The two continued walking down the hall, looking quite the odd pair as they continued their conversation.
Once the City was no longer under lockdown, Ren had found a little bit of home--actually, home itself: Atori Teahouse.

Everything seemed to be just the way it had been--the canisters of tea throughout the cafe itself, the china, and the cake ingredients meant for Yui's birthday. And in the apartment in the back was all of his stuff...as well as Sanako's, Shinji's, and Yui's. Even the mirror Ren had used to seal Darkwing within had come from Yui's things.

Managing not to think about his lost friend, Ren set aside his Deck and the mirror and set the kettle to boil.
Leon had a first-time visitor to his office this afternoon, a visitor who knocked three times before making his way through the door, looking not quite apprehensive. "Suspicious" wasn't the word either. "Wary" came a little closer.

In any case, Chris had promised to give Leon a chance and had rehearsed the least inflammatory way of letting him know that by possessing Claire Redfield's heart, he had also come into possession of the world's scariest protective older brother-in-law.

As gently as possible, of course.

"Afternoon, Captain Kennedy."

Perhaps it was sort of unnecessary for Samus to call Chief into her office, but in all honesty she preferred to speak in person. She was never quite sure of the security of it, so even when she was passing along completely unclassified information, habit forced her to request a meeting in person.

She waited at her desk, Chief wouldn't take more than a few seconds to arrive, considering where he was coming from anyway. She has something to show him anyway. On her desk was a rather obvious set up of conventional firearms, ranging from simple pistols to rifles. Each one was marked with an orange stripe. At the end of the row was a remote. Its purpose remained unknown to a casual observer.

Though she didn't want to draw attention to it, the observant viewer would realize that there was a new photo frame on her desk. She frowned at it and picked it up, looking for another place to put it.
Einhart was depressed. Which really, to those who vaguely knew her wasn't much different than her normal moods. Of course, right now she was still resting in the med bay, laying back on one of the recovery beds. That virus... what it had done to her...

She had tried to kill Vivio.

She tried to kill her only friend.

What kind of person was she?
