The crew meeting doesn't take place in the Obs Deck like it usually does. It takes place in the Medbay, because that's where most of the crew is gathered, and it's plenty large enough. Those that are still getting treated can sit on the beds, and those that just need to sit can sit on the beds.
When the last stragglers rejoin the others in the MedBay, when almost all the injuries have been treated, the Bridge Team finally returns, but they do not return triumphant. Most of their expressions are somber. One of their number, Paco, has come back missing an arm, and quite a few have rather nasty injuries, black eyes, burns, and so on. Jaime Reyes' armor is healed over his eye, and though said eye isn't gone (well, at least it won't be for long), it looks as if it is.
But their greatest casualty is being carried by Brainiac 5 with a flat pane of yellow shielding like an impromptu stretcher. Robin lent his cape to cover the body out of respect, but the green hand of the robot Brainiac is visible despite it.
The organic Brainy peels off from the group to silently carry the body into Special Weapons Division, to place it on one of the work-tables, as if the room is now an impromptu mortuary. An autopsy of sorts needs to be performed, after all, to ensure with absolute certainty what he already knows--that there is no way to repair their lost comrade. He will be absent from the reunion, and most likely chase out anyone that comes in.
As for the rest of them, they need medical care, probably need hugs, and mostly just need to see that the rest of the group is okay. They also need to meet the new people--who need to properly meet everyone in general, really.
[ooc: MEETING THREAD. Everybody, start subthreads and tag subthreads. This is for new people to meet folks and get a few more explanations, and also folks from the different teams just to reunite with people and see if they're okay, and all that. After the reunions and all that, free threading will resume. EVERYONE would be here, most likely. By this time, most folks would probably have joined the others.] - Tags:!location: med bay, !plot: end of the world news, adam malkovich, adam park, arha masaari, ax, bart allen, batman, billy cranston, brenda, charles kawalsky, chopper, chris ramirez, claire redfield, danny phantom, dean winchester, demon alessa, dr mcninja, gauron, hellion, jamie mccrimmon, jean grey, jono starsmore, katara, kate bishop, kon-el, leon s. kennedy, lex luthor, loren, luke skywalker, mara jade, marco, mei ling, nightwing, obi-wan kenobi, paco, pikachu, robin, roxie schreiber, rtas 'vadum, samus aran, shadow the hedgehog, slobo, son of satan, sonic the hedgehog, stature, terry mcginnis, the flash, the scout, the vision ii, toph, wags-tail-a-lot, zelda and sheik

[ooc: Rather than spam the boards with posts for my characters, this thread takes place a few days after everything quiets down in the medbay. If your character wants to speak to either Luis or Steve, this is the place. I won't have the two of them respond to each other (I'm not quite that tasteless), so let me know who you've come a-callin' for. Alternate thread title: I Can't Believe It's Not Muncest.]
In an isolated bed near the back of the medbay, a teenage boy lay restrained. Anyone who'd caught a glimpse of Steve on the day of the incident would have said he looked much better, but he still looked like hell-- bloodless, clammy skin misted with a thin sheen of sweat, veins standing out dark and purple, a facial expression that read he had been sleeping for quite a while and could stand to sleep for quite a while longer. His right shoulder was tightly bandaged, as was his left hand, and a loose bandage had been wrapped around his head to cover his left eye. His hands were still strapped down to the bed and an IV was feeding into his arm, but it looked like the energy and the color were slowly returning to the skinny redhead.
Now if only it wasn't so goddamn boring in here.
There wasn't even the comfort of constant conversation. Dr. Sera kept busy looking out for the injured all over the medbay, and didn't seem much for talk anyway. Any time he didn't spend hunched over the laboratory equipment in the back of the room he spent sort of muttering to himself, staring at charts, or making thinly veiled passes at the female visitors to the medbay. He did have the decency not to hit on the injured.
Still, his brain was fully entrenched in Science Mode and anybody who needed to speak to him would need to flag him down. - Tags:!location: med bay, !status: open, ahava, claire redfield, jean grey, loren, luis sera, luke skywalker, miku hinasaki, sherry birkin, steve burnside

Following the brief detour through MedBay, Billy trudged onward, relying almost entirely on the force of his will to keep moving. He wasn't entirely familiar with the layout of the City, so he attempted to memorize his path during his search. Adam's message had mentioned a roof? His eyes scanned every building. Finally, just when he was about to collapse from exhaustion, he spotted a familiar figure on one of the rooftops. "Adam!" Relief flooded through Billy's body, urging him onward. In a moment, without even waiting for a reply, he was inside the building and ascending the stairs. Then, finally, they were standing across from each other... ...though the distance between them lasted only a second. Billy would possibly regret this later, but he was unable to suppress the irrational urge to wordlessly wrap his arms around his friend. He was here, and they were whole when little else he knew remained intact.

Slobo had been puttering around the ship for an hour, thinking and looking. He quickly found that if you looked hard enough, between W&P and the City itself, you could find anything. In the end, he was standing outside a Courtyard by Marriott hotel about a click outside of "Escherville" with spraypaint and a very large block of stone. At first he had thought about the Vatican, but it was too wrecked from the zombie fight. Plus, this place had an indoor pool. He spraypainted a large message on the wall next to the door, red with black outline. "OUTSIDERS COMMUNITY SERVICE FIELD TRAINING PEER COUNSELING" On the sandwich board tucked near the door, he wrote "12-21? Info and Tryouts inside" and left it out in front. Now, he took his large rock into the lobby and began carving. And waited. - Tags:!location: outsider's palace, !status: open, batman, hunter blackthorne, katara, mai, nanoha, ravager, roxie schreiber, shadow link, sheeana, slobo, sokka, static, zelda and sheik

When there's a lot weighing on your mind, sometimes it's best to take a few moments to do something you're comfortable with. Some people make things, some people meditate, some people fight. Today, Satori associated most closely with the latter. After all, Danmaku is a skill that needs to be practiced regularly. Having heard about the Sensoriums, Satori had come to test the extent of their abilities. The room expanded, shifting from its normal plain walls into a vast, elaborately decorated palace hall. Her home. At the other end of it, constructed using her memories of their last encounter, a shrine maiden faded into existence. After a moment of gathering her thoughts and pushing them to the back of her mind, both of them took to the skies. Satori attacked first, unleashing a pair of spirals of blue and red orbs through the air to trap her opponent. Reimu weaved through them easily, replying with a volley of Yin-Yang orbs and enchanted talismans. The two continued to exchange fire for a while, and Reimu was the first to break the equilibrium. "Dream Sign - Duplex Barrier!" An array of barriers arranged themselves surrounding Reimu, with another set of larger barriers encompassing Satori as well. Reimu's attacks traveled through one and emerged from the other, assaulting Satori from in front and from behind at the same time. Satori opened Reimu's mind, reading the trajectories of her projectiles before she launched them, and weaved between them carefully... When the barriers fell, Satori immediately took the offensive. "Recollection - Border of Wave and Particle!" Drawing from Reimu's memories of her partner Yukari, Satori mimicked magic far above her own level. This meant it wouldn't be at full power, but was still quite formidable. Waves of energy spiraled out from Satori, dissolving in to particles as they expanded. The gaps in the pattern were almost impossible to find, and while Reimu continued to dodge and weave through it, it looked like she couldn't keep it up forever-- "Divine Spirit - Fantasy Seal!" Reimu exploded into a rainbow of spheres of power, washing away Satori's attack. They swerved upward and around through the air, surrounding Satori from every angle. Despite her psychic abilities, there was simply no way she could evade them all with her skills. A Yin-Yang orb struck Satori full in the chest, and she fell to the ground, the illusory realm dissolving around her. Well, perserverance is everything. Satori rested and meditated for a while before reconstructing the illusion and trying again. She would be at this for some time, and wasn't paying attention to who might open the door to a room full of explosions and magic...

Nathan always hated destiny. Even when everything pointed it to it. All the connections, the people, the symbols. And yet now that destiny had vanished, and been destroyed more effectively than an entire population of exploding radioactive beings.
And yet, apparently there was a destiny in this multiverse or whatever the hell they were now in. Back to the threads, the connections, only the tapestry was more complicated woven than anything on their Earth.
He knew he needed to get back. So many new people had arrived, and now they were going to really need some sort of government and order if they were all to come together to start over again. But he just needed a moment, or a few to lose himself in the sky over the city. His flight was away from where the bodies were being cleared away and prepared for the funeral. His eyes were directed upward anyway. A chance to collect himself again.

Robo was in Engineering. He had cleared a table off and was working on something, and was muttering an occasional curse.
You know how it's awkward to put a band-aid on your hand because you can only use one hand? Try reattaching a finger with a soldering iron.
Difficulties aside, Robo was still concentrating on this task with far more intensity than was it required. The task was an excellent distraction against thinking about all the weird shit that had just happened to him.
EDIT: Now that The Middleman has helped him out, he's just doing more general self maintenance.

Wags's personal training program, as some might already know, was his own version of the Endless Brawl. It exactly like the original. Exactly. And yet, somehow, Wags was doing the impossible in his anger. He was literally ripping apart one of the enemy Alloys, and despite the massive amounts of damage it had accrued it was still not sent flying off the stage.
