The wheels turn. He'd met with his lieutenant, even if it had been a little unplanned, and now he needed to get a message out. Something was coming, the smell of dissent in the air, and they needed to be ready.
So here he is, alone in the medbay, poring over one of Braniac 5's surplus omnicoms.

( There's a storm brewing )When he was ready, he finally called all of security into one of the briefing rooms. In front of where he stood, there was a holographic layout of part of the city, which highlighted the few direct routes between the Precinct and the Hub. Somewhere along those routes Sam would have to attack, since outside of the city, Stacy wouldn't let him. Out of all of the routes, he chose the widest walkway there. Right now they had Sam outnumbered and outgunned, but none of that mattered if they didn't have room to utilize it. A group of six, consisting of Leon, The Master Chief, Samus Aran, Worf, Marcus, and Ronon, were going to take the Yeerk. Carol Danvers would be flying overhead. The rest of the Security team would be along the route, keeping watch out for Sam, but their primary function would be crowd control. If Sam attacked, it would be up to them to protect the bystanders first and foremost, and keep others from getting involved. If people started jumping in, the situation could spiral downwards in a hurry. He did not want a riot on his hands The six with the Yeerk would be the primary ones to engage Sam and whoever he had with him. When Leon addressed the group, he spoke as if he was laying all his cards out on the table, but he did not mention his suspicions about a traitor among them. They needed to trust each other, and they needed to believe that he trusted them. And he did trust them... he trusted them enough to mention the sub-armory, where some of the more high powered weapons, non-lethal riot ordinance (including rubber bullets, flashbangs, tear gas, and beanbag shotgun rounds) and basic body armor (re: Kevlar) was available to them. But there were still a few cards he was going to play close to the vest. "All right, people, that's the plan. Any questions?" - Tags:!location: the precinct, !plot: a house divided, !status: closed, ax, cameron mitchell, carol danvers, chris ramirez, dr mcninja, jean grey, jo lupo, leon s. kennedy, marcus wright, nightwing, robert donovan, ronon dex, samus aran, sensor, the middleman, worf

There was quiet, and then Ronon was unceremoniously flung out of a vent that wasn't there before, before it disappeared again. "... The test is over. Come back," Could be heard before the vent shut itself. Goodness knows how long it's going to take Ronon to get the stupid rolling tests and that stupid song out of his head. What was the point of rolling things up into a ball to make a bigger ball? Not to mention having to do only that got tiring real quick. Ronon hated GLaDOS and never wanted to encounter her again. Getting up, Ronon surveyed the hallway he was in. He found himself in the hallway leading to the Sensoriums from the Obs Deck. Great! He was starving, but at least he didn't have to wander far to grab a decent bite. And by decent bite he meant Sensorium food. Stretching his arms - hey, rolling sticky balls around for a month is way more tiring than you'd imagine - he made his way to the Sensoriums. As soon as he got a free room, Ronon set up a cafeteria identical to Atlantis' cafeteria. He then took a tray piled with gloop disguised as meat and a pitcher of water, and sat down at a table outside overlooking the ocean. The sun was setting and a nice cool breeze was blowing. Ronon started digging in, working on relaxing himself. The ambient sound of waves crashing were definitely helping. (( OOC: Ronon's just come back from hiatus so everyone's memories of him have now returned. Feel free to run into him in the hallway or come and join him at the Sensoriums. It's peaceful in there and he may not seem like it, but he'd love some company. I'm pulling bendy-time for this so Ronon comes back just before the security meeting XD
And just for reference, here's the tune in his head XD I may or may not have been playing this game during my time without internet. ))

Pikachu was fighting for his life.
At least, that's what the simulation was. He hadn't bothered making a holographic Samus, not with the real thing on the ship. Even if she didn't know him, it'd just be creepy to make another version of her. Ridley roared out again, the force of his cry pushing the Pokemon backwards. It was hard hanging on, but Pikachu would rather take a little damage than risk falling off the platform. "PIKACHYUU!" he cried, releasing a massive bolt of lightning at the violet behemoth.
"Piiikachuuuuu!" he continued, the blast of lightning arcing across the sky to collide with the monster before him, knocking it backwards. "Piiika."

The matter with the Yeerk was building to a head rather quickly, and the explosion and the fallout had him worried. Not only that, but there were other concerns brewing, so he decided to take them right to the top to have them addressed. He and Captain Picard arranged to meet in the sensoriums, and apparently Leon wasn't the first one to get there. When he entered, he walked right into a jazz club. From the decour and by the way everyone was dressed, it looked like something apparently straight out of the 1920's. He stepped in slowly, trying to find the Captain. Along they way, his plantsuit transformed into something a bit more suited to the time and place. Not necessarily his usual style, but at least he couldn't feel it pulsing. And he looked damn good in the fedora. Now, to find Picard. "Captain?"

[Instructions: Here.]Mahatma Gandhi once said: "In matters of conscience, the law of the majority has no place." It was entirely likely that the crew would be very split on interpretation of that quote. Some thought the right thing was punishing what they saw as a mind-slaver for a crime with the ultimate penalty. Others thought that if a trial had dictated that imprisonment was punishment enough that it truly was. It was time to move the Yeerk, in its containment unit, from the Precinct in the City, to its secure prison in the MedBay, where its prison sentence was to take place. It was also time for the conspirators to move and make sure that it never made it. - Tags:!location: the city, !plot: a house divided, cameron mitchell, captain kirk, carol danvers, danny phantom, jean grey, jo lupo, john-117, leon s. kennedy, lyta alexander, marcus wright, nightwing, robert donovan, ronon dex, sam winchester, samus aran, sensor, worf

Luke sat at a table in the observation deck, chin resting in the palm of one hand. It was an attitude he'd never really abandoned in all his years, and one that had always made him look incredibly boyish--or so Mara had said.
So much had happened since the latest podpop. Two faces he thought he'd never see again had shown up, but neither knew him--they were from a time earlier than Luke had even existed. Obi-Wan was happier than Luke had known him, with a kind of vitality that told just how deeply the ravages of a prolonged war, and Anakin's fall, had affected him.
Anakin... Luke's blue eyes were troubled as he thought of his father. Young, talented, arrogant--all the things that the records had said of Anakin Skywalker were true. He'd rebuffed Luke, suspected him of treachery, and that had hurt Luke more than he let on. What could you say to that? What could you do about it? Luke wanted to tell Anakin the truth--tell him that Anakin was his father and Leia's father, tell him everything. But he'd seen someone who was so quick to anger and suspicious before he was ever trusting, and Luke had had to retreat. How could he make Anakin believe him anyway? Luke was old enough to be Anakin's father.
Obi-Wan had said that Anakin wasn't good with new stresses, and to give it time. Luke hoped that the other Master was right.
[OOC note: this takes place just around the time of the stuff going on down in the City. Directly after this thread ends with their danger-senses going off, Anakin and Luke will be making their way down to the City to be bystanders!]

[Instructions: Here.]The fighting begins in earnest, as bystanders get dragged in, have to duck out of the way, or join in to help out, but with more people entering the fray, there's even more chaos. Buildings have been cracked, a nearby fountain has been smashed, causing water to pour over the ground and make things even more of a mess. Can anyone, Security or the Conspirators, keep the situation under control? - Tags:!location: the city, !plot: a house divided, arha masaari, ax, bella (garou), blitzwing, cameron mitchell, claire redfield, danny phantom, jamie mccrimmon, jason todd, jean grey, jo lupo, john-117, katara, lafiel, leela bricker, leon s. kennedy, lyta alexander, marcus wright, nightwing, obi-wan kenobi, ravager, robert donovan, robin, ronon dex, sam winchester, samus aran, sheeana, sir sparhawk, sokka, worf
