Sooo...Meet-y

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their number. After the recent revelation, many of them were even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Brainiac 5 and Sensor were set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

"Earth is but one planet, I think, out of many in the different realities," Picard replied.

"I mean, does the ship pick up everyone from he planets it visits?"

"I believe we're only taken from realities the Ohm have destroyed."

Clarita sighs. "I'm sorry, I think we're not on the same page. I knew people, back home. I'm trying to figure out whether they're dead or sleeping."

"No. I'm afraid Stacy does not take everyone. She says that the ones who are taken are those whose 'stories' were the strongest in their realities, and the friends and family of those individuals."

Clarita sighs. "I see. Well, at least that means that Garret's in there, somewhere, as well as the other meta-children, if they survived the assault. If it even happened. Thank you for the information, Captain. I should probably... I don't know. I'm sure there's something to do around here, and I should let you get on with your duties. Thanks again." Unless Picard continues to engage Clarita in conversation, she drifts off, somewhat aimlessly, drifting horizontally above the crowd.
