Sooo...Meet-y

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their number. After the recent revelation, many of them were even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Brainiac 5 and Sensor were set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

"Alia." Luke committed the name to memory. "As I said, I was curious." He folded his hands again, thumbs pressed together in the front. "I have friends on this ship that are Fremen, and also Bene Gesserit. One of them has begun training to become a Jedi as I am."

While he talked, Luke stretched out his senses toward this Alia, trying to discern what exactly it was about her that was wrong. He felt the same sense of multiples that he often got with Arha and Sheeana; their Mothers-Within as the other women called them. It was like looking into a nebula full of young stars. But something about her...

"They have told me much, but as you say, perhaps it's deceit." Luke spread his hands, a big Skywalker grin coming easily to his mouth. "I sure hope my friends wouldn't do such a thing though!"

"Then I hope you care careful on whom you call 'friend'." Alia carefully ran a hand through her tousled curls.
"The bene gesserit have done nothing but bring pain and anguish into my family. Their schemes tore us apart, killed my father, my brother, and left it's mark on me as well..." She shifted carefully, feeling awkward and exposed before him for some reason. She thought she could feel those blue eye penetrating into her soul.

And for a moment she wondered what her eyes with look like had it not been for the spice....

"Be careful what you teach her, she may use it to take your water someday."

"I am not teaching her myself, my friend Master Kenobi is," Luke replied. "And I would trust Arha with my life and the lives of my family. By all accounts she is also a diligent student and dedicated to the ways of the Jedi."
