Sooo...Meet-y
The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their number. After the recent revelation, many of them were even more eager to see people they knew from home.
Brainiac 5 and Sensor were set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings.
There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

"Oh. Wow, that's embarrassing."
Breathe, Lois, breathe.
"Must be an alternate universe thing, because if you actually forgot me, I'd have to kick your ass until it clicked."
She stepped back a bit, and stuck out her hand to shake. Personal bubbles had to be maintained now, after all.
"Lois Lane."

"An alternate universe, huh?" He questions. The concept wasn't anything he never encountered before. "From the looks of it, I say you're right." A smirk then appears upon his face before Ollie notes, "Hope your Ollie's as charming and handsome as I am." Okay, he had to.

She shakes his hand, firmly. It's bizarre to rib him about himself, but Lois rolls with the punches like that. She puts her hands on her hips, smile creeping back.
"Of course he is. I'd be a bit freaked out if Oliver Queen was anything but."

He lets the question hang in the air a bit as a smile appears on his face and he nods. "Glad to see I'm at least consistent. So, uh, you work for the Daily Planet in your universe - or is there a whole lotta change that I should be ready to hear?"
no subject
She's trying to figure out how it could be any other way. As far as she's concerned, her reality was the intended reality, period.
"Daily Planet, and shooting for the top. As for change... well, I'm a bit too far behind to tell for most things. We don't have a Justice League yet, and you're the only costumed hero I know personally."
no subject
Now is really not the time for that... Even Ollie can realize it. So, he changes the subject, and doesn't interject at her mention of him being the only hero she knows. "So, how long have you been here? Anyone else from your universe here?" The man then stops himself, realizing how he must sound. There's a bit of a sigh before he rubs the back of his neck with his palm and notes, "Sorry, you don't have to answer anything. Not trying to pry, or anythin'. This is all just - really weird."
no subject
Or so she believes. And part of her wants to give him a zing about how she's just about the ONLY "good taste" he's shown so far, but this is a whole new Ollie and that might be a bit catty.
"I've been here for a while. The whole endless stretch of time thing does a number on your internal clock. So far, it looks like the only person from my universe is Lex Luthor. Lucky me, huh?"
The sarcasm is light, but definitely there.

And, because this is Ollie we're talking about, he smirks and adds in a teasing fashion, "I'll trade you Lex for the Batman, any day. You know, if you even had or knew a Batman. I'm going to shut up now." Whatever Ollie says, its like he's sinking into a deeper whole in this conversation.

After all, they don't have her military training. She might not be taking them out by the dozens by some of the kids here, but she certainly stood a better chance than Chloe or Clark did.
"But as for Lex, done deal. I'll take someone who sounds like they take after flying rodents over guy taking 'eccentric rich kid' to one new extreme after the other."
She doesn't know or care that Batman's standing nearby.

"Zombies, and lots of them. And trust me, they were not pretty in the slightest. But you know, the Sensoriums make up for half the shit thrown at us at the end of the day."
