Sooo...Meet-y

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their number. After the recent revelation, many of them were even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Brainiac 5 and Sensor were set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

"Eh, if I live long enough to be a geezer, I'll be happy. Don't suppose the Bat you punched was the original one, huh?" Guy isn't Bruce Wayne's biggest fan. "The new one's not too bad, either."

Terry frowned a little bit. This was the second time today someone had mentioned someone coming back from the dead. He didn't like it - it reminded him a bit too much of what the Joker did.

"Nah, I wouldn't punch the old man. I've seen him take down a whole gang in his eighties, I wouldn't want to get on his bad side when he's still in his prime. No, I punched, um," he realized he'd never caught the name of the man who had attacked him in the Sensorium, "kinda crazy guy with bulky Bat-armor."

"Bulky bat-armor?" Hal questioned. He didn't know of anyone in his timeline who would have anything like that. "Do you remember what he looked like?" Hal sort of had the feeling that he might know who this was. Probably Guy would, too.

Guy did have a few guesses. There hadn't been that many people who'd worn the Batsuit. But that wasn't the part that interested him most. "Guess he really ain't permanently dead, then. Figures he'd get old. He must hate it."

Terry shrugged. "He was wearing a mask, so I didn't really get a look at his face. But he kept shouting about how the old man'd never take away being Batman from him."

He could identify with that a bit - after all, he'd never give up being Batman himself. But he wouldn't start attacking people over it.

"Permanently dead...?" Terry looked at Guy, confused. "I keep hearing about this, but no one'll explain it to me. As far as I know, in my world, he never died." He tried to ignore the comments about getting old. He was right, Bruce did hate it... but Terry respected Bruce, and didn't like the tone Guy was taking.
