Sooo...Meet-y

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their number. After the recent revelation, many of them were even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Brainiac 5 and Sensor were set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

Waaaaait a second.

"What do you mean by data?" he asked.

She tilts her head a bit. "I am an android, Luis. All of my memory, or what's left of it, is data."

And Luis' sex drive hit a wall.

Science kicked in and picked his brain up off the floor, and presumed normal operation. "No kidding?" he replied. Wow. How do you respond to that? 'Well, they did a great job on you!' God damned real life science fiction movie.

"Well, you're far beyond anything they've got in the world I came from. I could hardly tell." He wasn't sure whether or not to add a 'congratulations' to that.

"No kidding." She nods seriously, blinking a bit at the feeling of something slamming violently into some kind of field. Her imagination, maybe? She can't quite hear any cries for help...

"I'm far beyond anything in the world I'm from as well. As I said, I'm from the future." Well beyond nanotechnology, even. STAR Labs is completely befuddled by her.

"You'll have to excuse me if I say anything rude," Luis lamented a moment later, "There's no such things as androids where I come from, so I'm probably a little rusty on the... etiquette."

Better nature told him he should stop talking about it, but he also wanted to ask her more. Like "how do you work!?" Damn that curiosity of his.

"I work with Grace Choi," she deadpans. "Anything you say will seem like high praise compared to her." She gives him a sweet little smile, a comforting one. "Don't worry. If you have any questions, I will try to answer them as best I can."

She recognizes a scientist when it stands in front of her, it seems. She's spent enough time in STAR Labs, anyway.
