The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their number. After the recent revelation, many of them were even more eager to see people they knew from home.
Brainiac 5 and Sensor were set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings.

He heaved a sigh. "I was... told to hold onto it when the day when the Dark Mother would arise but right now, it's kind of a moot point. It allows me to absorb and use magic by myself. To supplement the already formidable magic and fighting skills I have. Stuff I've been keeping away from Will."

That was actually fairly new to Nanoha - as a general rule of thumb, most people she was familiar with only had one type of magic. But hey, people from different worlds meant different types of magic. She was learning that fairly well.
His other statement on the other hand, was something she could answer, as her fingers went to the jewel around her neck - Raising Heart began to hover over her palm, emanating the same magenta magic. "It's probably reacting to Raising Heart, my device."

Quintessence came in two forms; soft healing pink and electrical blue. Mostly because of the nature of Life Magic.
"Huh, must be," said Matt, holding the empty Heart of Kandrakar close and it crackled with electricity within the confines as he brought it back and it calmed to pink. "That is pretty neat actually. Is it designed to cast magic through?"

Her fingers curled around Raising Heart again - the jewel was warm to the touch as always - and she tilted her head slightly to the side. "Mm, something like that. It's more that I'm designed to use my magic through her."
