Sooo...Meet-y

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their number. After the recent revelation, many of them were even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Brainiac 5 and Sensor were set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

She doesn't seem like she knows anything useful. He turns away. "I'd rather not waste my time."

At that, the smile thins a bit but doesn't fade. "Then you've been told why you're here? What it is that we're fighting for? I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss things as a waste of time."

Especially not if the rest of the crew is all they're going to have to rely on from here on out.

"I don't even know you. How can I trust what you say?"

"To be honest, there's no real proof I can give you to trust me. But I don't have any reason to lie to you. We've all woken up here on the ship far from home, and we've all been pushed into the middle of something way bigger than we'd ever imagined. What reason would I have not to try and help?"

"If nothing else, the last thing I'd want to do is give members of the crew reasons to mistrust each other. We can't afford that right now."

He pauses and looks at her. "Fine, you're probably trustworthy. That doesn't mean you know anything I couldn't get through other people. Why are you so eager to help anyway?"

"Maybe, maybe not. You're awfully quick to throw away potential resources, though." She paused, and when she smiled again it was a bit more muted. "I've always liked helping people. I remember how I felt when I first woke up in the pods - I was confused, I didn't know what was going on, and I'm still grateful for the first people who talked to me and who helped fill me in. Why wouldn't I want to try to do the same for everyone else?"

This was becoming bothersome. "Fine. Tell me what you know."

"Well... what do you know about the Ohm? I'd rather not tell you the same thing twice if I can help it."
