Sooo...Meet-y

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their number. After the recent revelation, many of them were even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Brainiac 5 and Sensor were set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

Ostentatious. Is he egotistical or is he trying to send a message? Or both? Sheeana watched the watcher with a practiced eye. She approached him there.

"And what are you searching for?"

There was a slight grin as he looked at Sheeana.

"I'll know it when I see it. What brings you here?"

She waved her hand, the Fremen equivalent of a shrug. "Perhaps to look for more of my people. Or perhaps that my Order has always taken an interest in unusual people..."

She wondered if there was risk in telling him about Alia. "One woman from my world. A dangerous one. A tyrant."

"Interesting..." He seemed to consider that, for a moment. "Though she sounds rather unpleasant."

"Pleasant things are not something we can afford to care about right now. But she may yet prove interesting. Tell me, have you seen anyone here who has reacted with something other than dissolving into water-shedding and demands as to know what is happening?" She emphasized their kinship as two of Stacy's most rational.

That got a slight smirk. "Not as of yet, but I figured I'd give this group time to simmer down and settle in. But the people who are smart enough to seek out a better view of the big picture tend to look for like minded individuals." Which may, in fact, be why he's looking to be seen.

"It's not exactly something you can post a handbill for!" She switched to a theatrical voice, another one of those Bene Gesserit tricks. "Seeking: Those without knee jerk reactions. Those with balanced minds. Those who know the spectrum of the omniverse and not just black and white. Seek ye the man with no hair!"
